Hello,

I'd like to use the logging feature of Loadiine for a few tests Im doing.

I use loadiine server 1.1.

When I start the game with this feature enabled, nothing happens, and my PC doesnt seem to get anything, am I doing something wrong? Is this feature broken with loadiine GX?

Edit: Nevermind, it was just taking ages to load haha XD

@Cyan What is the environment needed to compile this btw? The regular method with cygwin and libwiiu seems to leave a lot out. Added the portlibs from the devkit website, but that doesn't contain all the needed libraries either. And once I finally thought I had all the right libraries, I experienced issues when it got to the sd_fat_devoptab.h file that may or may not be related.

Thanks
You need to replace DevkitPro's libogc to this one, not just portlibs. libwiiu isn't needed to compile, just devkitPro w/ devkitPPC installed and paths set, portlibs and libogc.

@dimok i think there is any issue with this build with loading super smash bros in mii maker mode. I when click on the button to launch the game it would pause a few seconds as if it was trying to load the game but it does not load it. I was able to load the game fine with the regular loadiine.

i can confirm that with EUR version too :(
when trying to start it makes the sound when pressing the button A to start the game and after a second the background animation flows again and i can choose another game -> it wont start

edit: the same here with fifa13 :( with the old loadiineGX on sdcard works but not on the web-beta with splatoon working

Ah damn I didn't think to check the initial release page for all those files haha, so much time wasted... Thanks, works now.

I was wandering if anyone knew a way or found a way? I was trying Mario Kart 8 out with Loadiine GX2, just out of curiosity really, is there anyway of speeding up the loading times between races cause I noticed its quite slow compared to the disc version bordering on a tad annoying tbh!. Does tinkering around with the ui folder help at all with language files or something else maybe?

The only way is by using a big cluster size when formatting the SD card (32K at least)

Yeah. 64K might be even better. I don't use that becuase I'm using the ez Share adapter and it can only read cards formatted up to 32K, hehe
I was thinking of tinkering around with the ui folders in the content folder to get rid of the foreign language files/folders etc..that I don't need myself cause I noticed they take up a lot of space and some are big files/folders so I thought deleting those may help, speed things up a bit with loading times. I thought maybe someone might of tried this already?

That would only save space in the SD. It wouldn't affect load times at all since the games only load the necessary files (games don't use all language files simultaneously).

Not true cause with Fast Racing Neo if you change the "scatter" folder to say example "scatter01" it changes the race loading times to normal instead of having to wait along while. Sometimes changing and deleting certain files can help with loading times, its been noted.

Ok thanks. It seems to be an internal thing on loadiine gx2. Probably easy to fix. Can someone with that problem come to IRC to run a few debug builds?

in fast neo racing , i DELETE the scatter folder and its work without waiting.
You don't delete it that is a main folder to the game, you just rename "scatter" folder to say "scatter01" then try it you will find it now loads as normal. The waiting times are just as they should be ;)

Would it be possible to port loadiine to 5.1.1
I wont be doing that as I cant test it and I dont have the necessary files for it such as kernel, loader and coreinit binaries. ptitleray submitted a few of the required addresses for it but I cant tell if they are right or wrong as I dont have the binaries. If I would get those and someone would run several test builds, we could probably get it to work.

Oh dang. Just paranoid of using my Splatoon to update to 5.3.2.

not that, some psu like those corsair rm series stock cables have very big knicks that make it impossible to fit in there
