So I was poking around on Twitter, and saw that one of the former smash leakers posted a link to this...

does anyone know if it's reliable or not at this point in development?
 
Whats the nusbank for the 1st and 2nd midgar stage music called, I don't have my computer ATM but would want to replace and test a music file maybe in the future I could compile a list of stage file names for the public to see and use
 
Question:

If you wanted to permanently inject these models/textures/whatever into the CIA, would just recompiling it normally do this right, or would I need to rename the data folder to something else? Or would I need to find a way to reinject the data folder into wherever it came from? I managed to get music re-compiled into the cia; I'm just wondering if "data" will compile correctly (since it had to be created after the other romfs files)


EDIT: Never mind, it does need to be recompiled into the "dt" and "ls" files... could somebody create a recompiler from the dtls.py file? I'm not good with Python...

Just putting this up as a new post as to make it show up in the alerts...

Could someone make a python script for this? I want to be able to inject a modified version of bayonetta permanently into the game files, but can't until the data folder gets re-injected into the dt/ls files...

I believe Sammi Husky made a repacker. Not sure what it is called.

Brawl Blood Falcon

The 3 Giga Macs pics are tests for rimlighting. Basically light that shines around a character. The same kind you see on the Galaxy stage for the Wii U version. Normally thw 3DS version lacks rimlighting, however, it is shown to be highly possible.

The last Little Mac is to show how characters normally look on that stage.

At the moment I don't officially support prepatched or compiled versions, but I do know that there's builds floating around anyways.

Did you achieve the rim lighting effect by changing/replacing the "littlemacg_ref" texture?

Yep. Pretty much is a p.o.c for Giga and his face is a separate texture. Falcon should provide interesting results. Rimlighting is beautiful in Brawl, but it's hard managing to keep it and avoid lag. Not sure what was the difference between that and reflection materials. A simple texture change and they resemble eachother.
 
How would one go about importing Brawls textures into Smash 4? Trying to import Mr. L textures, but the size and placements seem pretty different. Just was wondering since I've seen a few people able to import some Brawl textures into Smash 4.

My good man...Time and effort...time...PATIENCE...and effort XD. This took 3 hours to do and keep the quality.

Left side Smash 4 and right side Brawl textures. About 85% of the textures are from brawl, rescaled and sharpened. The rest was recolored.

Well, then you have characters like Metaknight where it's as easy as pie to do. His mapping is just like Brawl's except they are put into one or two textures. So just copy, scale and paste pretty much.

Which reminds me. If anyone wants the raw HQ Brawl Falcon textures from my mod, let me know by pm'ing me. As we know, Ohana destroys quality.

Yeah lol. I did this for a reason. I've seen many people steal textures and use it for their own. Perhaps them recaling from that size wouldn't be great as well. Guess I'll do it next time.

Not accusing anyone here of that, but the Brawl and MKWii scene has seen a few of those moments.

You could always just throw a quick watermark on them as well.

P.S. Would it frowned upon if I posted a list of interesting things that I've found while file exploring? I don't want to get off topic or break any rules.
