Basically the title. I have a N3DSXL on 10.5 and I was trying to use browserhax. I used the auto setting from http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php and the bottom screen cycles yellow, gray, orange and then the browser crashed. I have tried to delete and reinstall the homebrew files. I am using the network method of transferring to the microsd card if that makes a difference. How can I get it to work?

From what I've read, since 10.4 came out and updated NATIVE_FIRM, browserhax has become more unstable, with crashing while trying to execute the payload and failing, AKA crashing at the orange screen.

Just keep trying, then install menuhax ASAP.

Thanks for your help. I will instally OOTHax because I want to ensure that nothing goes wrong when the new Smash DLC drops. Will OOTHax install the same way?

Yeah, it's just another app that should be named oot3dhax_installer or something like the sort. Run that to install it when you get into the HBL.

I have the same problem but on O3DS. I read is very unstable but is my only entry point on my japanese console all becouse the last FW...and becouse this i can't even install another hax like menuhax.

Quoted from Yellows8: "Please note that Old3DS-browserhax is more unstable with failing starting at the orange-screen, starting with 10.4.0-29(updated NATIVE_FIRM is part of this but it's not the only issue). Hence, as already said above installing other hax from here is highly recommended. See here regarding crashes/hangs/screen-colors."

Also why can't you install Menuhax? It's a stable entrypoint on 10.5.

Maybe i wrong but as far i knwo for install menuhax you need one already entry point (like cubic ninja or another hax). So if hoembrew hax not work for at least one time..i can't do nothing for menuhax.

Just keep pounding away at Browserhax, it'll eventually work. After that you can install Menuhax and you'll be good to go.

Turn off theme shuffle. My bro literally just had this problem and that's what worked.
