Should be able to if you install an older version of the web browser but I'm not exactly sure how to go about and do that (though I am interested to hear over PM if you do xD)

Guys, has anyone found the offsets to edit the characters' data in if/fates? I found a thread in Serene's Forest but it only has offsets to use with a ram dump, and I wasn't able to find anything in the save except the offset for gold...
I managed to find the start of the character blocks and successfully edit some classes and even change one character into another, and I'd show you my work if I had a working computer.. Won't be getting one till at least the end of February
However, if I recall, @Olmectron had a post a few pages back including a small list involving character IDs and such, you could try that

So, where in the hex of the save file would i be able to change my avatar's voice? I didn't see it as an option under "edit appearance," so i want to do it manually.

I made a post here where with the help of @TildeHat Phila was successfully added as a playable character, and unlike my Grima, this doesn't replace anyone.
With that said, if anyone with save data hacking could clear Chapter 1 with my files and save, what is Phila's character value?
I assume it should be 39 since 38 is the last playable unit.

Let me get your request straight - you want someone to clear ch1 using your files and save? Well I suppose I could do that for ya. Not sure what these 'files' entail but I have CFW so if they are romfs files I could just build my own cia.
They're just edited game files, you can either use NTR CFW, it has everything set up so you'd literally only need to drag'ndrop to the root of your SD, run NTR and the hack would work, or you can take the files and rebuild the romfs with them.
Just start a new save, clear chapter 1 and then save, you should have 1 more unit than normal (Phila), and I assume her character ID should be 39 since afaik the playable character limit only goes up to 38.
Hmm. Strange, when I made a backup of my save file via Save File Manager, it only rendered these files: "Chapter0" "Global" and "Map0"

Even if I can't edit stuff, I can at least post the updates from before my laptop went under! Basically what I did was I changed Shigure into M!Kanna to get twin Kannas, and the results are not disappointing! Everything is more or less the same as having twin Marcs in Awakening
The Kanna not native to the save file has the default grey hair in PokeAmie-I mean, in Skinship.. Also, the changed Kanna calls you by the wrong name(Mother if you're male and vice versa, just like in Awakening)
Sibling supports between the two act the same as in Awakening, and both are capable of marrying separate units(mine are married to Kinu and Kisaragi, respectively)
Also, using both Kannas on your streetpass team works perfectly fine, tested it by streetpassing myself using two of my save files(Don't have any images right now, those will come later). I can't access online so I can't say for sure how they'd react there, but we'll see when the Western release comes, I guess.
On a side note, the skills learned in the Amiibo classes cannot be passed to child characters, and the same can probably be said of the other DLC-only class abilities.

Did you use the Fire Emblem Awakening Save Tool to decompress your save files?
Oh good lord dont even mention it. I've been playing the translated version recently because I couldn't hold my impatience and there is just feature after feature which I predict to be removed. Aside from the already confirmed Petting minigame I'm calling that the hot spa and my room will be merged into barracks and bathing suits will be removed entirely from the accessory shop.
Well it might be that I'm using the tapatalk app right now that I'm not seeing any files attached, but if not then by all means, share the files that need to be tested on. Meanwhile I'll fetch the titleid for NTR :3
