Hacking Can My PS3 Slim be Hacked?

Hello,

I just received a PS3 Slim from my cousin.
He sent it to me as a gift he will no more play it.
So I realized that it have not cracked yet. So can only play original bluray disc games.

I want to learn is it possible and how it is possible to crack it to play downloaded games on it.
PS3 Slim with 160GB storage. Cech-3003 is the model number and it is PAL edition.

Can you tell me how to do all above?

iirc the models on 2500 and over cannot be downgraded to 3.55, but i think i am wrong

BTW I forgot to write, It came with Version 4.65 and I updated it to 4.76.
Also there is another issue that I am unable to connect PSN. it gives timeout error always.

the newest firmware you can jailbreak is 3.55 which is a very very old firmware, so if you get a model capable of being downgraded to 3.55, you will need to get an E3 Flasher

No you cannot install any CFW or downgrade 3K units. Your only option is an ODE - which in retrospect isn't worth the time or effort. Try to sell the 3K and find an older unit to downgrade.
