impossible, without the seed you can not load any ap game, that's for sure, this only serves to make the games do not ask update, and climbed a video that taught it.

Dude, just shut up. AP has nothing whatsoever to do with crypto or seeds. AP is for retail carts. Retail carts don't use seeds. If they did, it would be 100% impossible to play them without having them in your system with an internet connection at least once (for you to download and install the seed).

Just to add further clarification:

If you install a cia to your system and when you launch it the system hangs on a 3ds logo, that means the game expects a minimum kernel version that is higher than the one currently in use by the sytem. This will ONLY happen to cfw users (gw does not experience this) and it is easily solved by installing a "fw spoofed" version of the cia (or update if a downloaded game update caused the problem)

If you try to download a game from the eshop and it almost finishes and then spits out an error (usually around 97%) then the game/demo/app you tried to download is encrypted using the new seed and you will need to locate a crypto-fixed version of that application.

The new AP check will never affect anyone except sky3ds users. If you own a Sky3DS with a red or blue button and your new .3ds file won't load, then it probably uses the new AP check and you are shit out of luck. Your options include downgrading to 9.2 and using CFW, buying a Sky3DS+, or buying the game to play.

Alright guys I have currently got my n3ds to run rxtools on 10.3 EMUNAND (see attached image for proof) I am currently looking for testers to help me test to see what I have done can be recreated. Currently I am looking for people with unlinked EMUNANDs and with rxtools running and with a created nand backup from before setting up EMUNAND and with downgraded Nands but all is wanted for testing. Pm for more info and if you want to help me find out why this worked.

If this is really a test, you should share more information, including the steps you followed that rxtool version you are using, etc etc, that I did in my thread, and not just go up two or three photos show nothing revealing.

Uh no, native firm has nothing to do with the 10.3 showing up. For system settings or any other program that reads/reports the firmware version to show 10.3.0-28X, he has to have the latest CVer and NVer installed. Which is basically the only thing those two titles do btw.

Dude, how about you actually pay attention to what was said. We chewed him out for trying to keep the process private via PM (which was dangerous since most of the people replying were newbies who may not have been fully aware of how things work. We then got sceptical because of a suspicious lack of proper proof it was working.

His second video shows that whatever he managed seems to work, but from what he has said it sounds like something went sideways during his downgrade that worked out to a magical lucky happenstance for him.

Doesn't really seem that my downgrade would have something to do with it. it installed fine with mine the only thing that happened is that it got stuck on the reboot screen for a while but after manually rebooting it, it worked fine

Guys, stop making stupid people famous. This doesn't serve any purpose, it's some kind of buggy upgrade which won't give you any advantage. New games still need to be spoofed. Plus you have strange Frankenstein firmware that probably will produce errors at some point.

Not quite correct.

If you update CVer (which makes your fw read as 10.3.0) then you need to set 10.3.0 as your firmware when generating your payload. If you update NVer (which makes it read -28X) then you need to set -28X when you generate a payload. If you update both you need to set 10.3.0-28X when you generate the payload. Native_Firm has nothing to do with this. Especially since actually installing an updated native_firm to your emunand does jack diddly squat because the system doesn't actually load it. It loads from firmware.bin on the sd card (the exception to this is GW, and idk how they do shit)

Gateway loads firm in much the same way, only unlike CFWs, they pack the firm into their launcher. (it's obfuscated and encrypted of coarse). Hence why you can't link directly to Gateway's launcher on GBATemp due to the files containing Nintendo files.
