Yes, but they aren't mismatched.Doesn't matter if you use FTP or not, incomplete transfers can still happen, they are just particularly common in transferring several large files through FTP.

Well that's good, if nothing else that helps narrow it down for us.Yes, but they aren't mismatched.
I've found a way around my issue. Couldn't get the auto page of browserhax to work but with some messing around I was able to trick the browser into allowing me to use it by going to the pages manually. I have reported my instructions to that post as well.Well that's good, if nothing else that helps narrow it down for us.
So you said you were on 9.9 before downgrading?
I've heard more of these unusual issues arise when people are using these less common FW's than 10.3.
I've also heard of people with similar issues managing to fix it by upgrading to 10.3 before downgrading to 9.2
..You might want to consider trying that if you haven't already and if no one else has any ideas.
Maybe there's an issue with certain versions of the browser being stubborn about downgrading (maybe it detects the browser you had on 9.9 as the same as the 9.2 and ignores it), and the one that comes on 10.3 simply handles it better by comparison?
I thought you were saying it couldn't be used at this time?m

Indeed, the auto page will say that. However, manually going to the correct exploit for n3ds it would trigger. It seems there is some sort of issue with it not loading fast enough to trick the browser, but how this even happened in the first place is beyond me because I shouldn't ever received the dummyupdate (if I did)I thought you were saying it couldn't be used at this time?
Gotchu... I wonder if there's just some leftover settings and hidden values that were tied to 9.9, which caused this dummying because of the inconsistency.Indeed, the auto page will say that. However, manually going to the correct exploit for n3ds it would trigger.
Not sure, having issues installing menuhax atm. Things seem very off. Retransfering Menuhax setup to make sure theres no issues with that.Gotchu... I wonder if you happened to have the same browser version before the downgrade, and you just had some leftover settings and hidden values that were tied to 9.9, which caused this dummying because of the inconsistency.
It would kind of explain all this pretty clearly.
Well, if other titles are continuing to act funky aside from the browser, I'd definitely recommend going up to 10.3 and taking it back down to 9.2 to guarantee consistent results with the rest of the forum while you still have the chance. Not sure, having issues installing menuhax atm. I'm good now, we'll see if everything remains okay from here. Hopefully this post helps others as it seems it can happen to others. If issues with CFW occur, will be attempting to redowngrade. Fixed my menuhax + ironfall now.Well, if other titles are continuing to act funky aside from the browser, I'd definitely recommend going up to 10.3 and taking it back down to 9.2 to guarantee consistent results with the rest of the forum while you still have the chance.
You know what's really odd? Is that when I had a partial downgrade it would work. I've solved all my problems now, as I was able to get the full downgrade once I went up to 10.3. ThanksFor future reference Ironfall will -not- work on 9.2 no matter what because it requires a higher fw version to run.
It failing to run is normal.
Edit: So I went to 10.3 out of frustration, and was able to install 9.2 within 3min completley. I highly suggest if you're on 9.9.0 or ish to go straight to 10.3, and not bother. 9.9.0 was a huge pain in the ass, with a good chance of bricking my 3ds had I not waited.
Well the partial downgrade would have parts of system from higher FW that would trick Ironfall into thinking it has a higher version FW, so it would run.
If they still had 9.9 CVer then system settings would still show 9.9.0CVer, I guess?
Stability wasn't the issue, but the fact it wouldn't run at all from the auto portion was. It'd just give the error as if you had that dummy browser. I think I actually tried that as my very first thing when I was half-downgraded, but it didnt matter cause of it.I'll just leave this here:
the way I got sliderhax to be much more stable is to get the ropbin for your version at http://smealum.github.io/3ds/#otherapp, place it at the root, and name it browserhax_hblauncher_ropbin_payload.bin
