Out of curiosity, which areas? GX2, I would imagine, but what else?fyi wiiu mode would require a full rewrite in a lot of areas which would take probably as long as the development of nintendont itself so chances are very low.

there is a big diference between general emulators and nintendont, emulators already have their graphic engine emulated so you will need to port the emulation method, nintendont has no emulated graphic engine zero, so you would need to write a graphical emulatro from scratch not port one.I'm sure that is a big part of it. I really hope that one day it's made possible. So i'm guessing that all emulators etc will also need complete rewrites too.
Or just borrow Dolphin's GX emulator and port it to PPCthere is a big diference between general emulators and nintendont, emulators already have their graphic engine emulated so you will need to port the emulation method, nintendont has no emulated graphic engine zero, so you would need to write a graphical emulatro from scratch not port one.
lol dolphin emulates gx in pc system the wiiu isnt even on the same language when the architecture is diferent you need to basicaly rewrite everything and make up your own.Or just borrow Dolphin's GX emulator and port it to PPC
GPU is similar... (Radeon)lol dolphin emulates gx in pc system the wiiu isnt even on the same language when the architecture is diferent you need to basicaly rewrite everything and make up your own.
If all of that was so easy we wouldnt need nintendont we could just put dolphin on wiiu lol.
Actually someone (I don't remember who, probably Hykem or Marionumber1) said that the GX2 functions and OpenGL functions are very similar with a few minor differences (mainly calls)GPU is similar... (Radeon)
The thing is the differences between GX2 library function and OpenGL library function, are they compatible...
I am aware that PPC architecture and x86/64 architecture are very different, hence why I said port. You don't need to reinvent the wheel if you have a starting point laid out for you. Also see abovelol dolphin emulates gx in pc system the wiiu isnt even on the same language when the architecture is diferent you need to basicaly rewrite everything and make up your own.
So you say porting emulators from Wii to WiiU might be possible? Neat because I really hope for a port for NeoGenesis GX and VBA GX those two have a good base but suffer from hardware limitations.there is a big diference between general emulators and nintendont, emulators already have their graphic engine emulated so you will need to port the emulation method, nintendont has no emulated graphic engine zero, so you would need to write a graphical emulatro from scratch not port one.
I'm all in favor for nullDC on WiiU, maybe Project 64, Yabause, and PPSSPP too? XDDolphin on the wiiu lol, that would be ace
considering noone of those versions did anything at all to general gaming its impossible they caused it.So ever since 3.381 (AFAIK) Sonic Heroes would freeze upon entering any loading of a character model, so I updated to 3.382 and the same problem occurred. I tried playing Sonic Gems Collection after updating as well and it wouldn't let me access the Museum and just stay on a black screen. Anyone else experiences weird loading errors or hangups like these?
I'm on Wii U if it helps.
I would say that it would likely be more beneficial to get VWii completely running in WiiU mode and have a global GX->GX2 wrapper so that all Wii software automatically benefits and no changes are needed to the applications themselves..I'm sure that is a big part of it. I really hope that one day it's made possible. So i'm guessing that all emulators etc will also need complete rewrites too.
its probably way easier and more likely to free vwii, giving the 2gb ram and 1.2x khz of processing power.I would say that it would likely be more beneficial to get VWii completely running in WiiU mode and have a global GX->GX2 wrapper so that all Wii software automatically benefits and no changes are needed to the applications themselves..
Also, does the Wii U contain a physical or emulated GX unit?its probably way easier and more likely to free vwii, giving the 2gb ram and 1.2x khz of processing power.
I can test again to be sure, I still haven't installed the latest update posted yesterday I'm still on 3.381 I haven't installed the update yesterday yet, but last time I checked both Sonic Heroes and Sonic Gems Collection "US/JAP" worked fine for me, I'll go test again now just to be sure, brb.So ever since 3.381 (AFAIK) Sonic Heroes would freeze upon entering any loading of a character model, so I updated to 3.382 and the same problem occurred. Updated to 382, but it did not work! Front ports still not working with gc adapter. Could it be I wasn't supposed to download controllers.zip or maybe there's a setting I didn't activate? Do I have to launch Smash Wii U before using nintendont?update nintendont to 382 that will for sure fix it, long ago nintendont didnt support front posts.
lol no, is your adapter official? is native set to off?Updated to 382, but it did not work! Front ports still not working with gc adapter. Could it be I wasn't supposed to download controllers.zip or maybe there's a setting I didn't activate? Do I have to launch Smash Wii U before using nintendont?
is your iso md5 checked?Just had the weirdest thing happen with Nintendont. Playing Star Fox Adventures, loaded a save into Thorntail Hollow very early in the game, and entered Thorntail Store, and this is when things went screwy.

Everything was fine until I was notified as being in the Thorntail Store, and a big gradient color polygon quad appears. I can't exit the way I came, as the game registers an invisible wall if I walk in too far from this point, so I go through the color gradient. I see another, so I go through that, except it's not right in front of me, but is actually a drop off, and I fall to an area underneath all that. I look around, and areas that are shown as open have invisible walls except for one, and that led me to an infinite drop.
I checked the compatibility notes about the game, and it says not to shrink the iso if problems occur after loading a save. The iso I have is not shrunk though (~1.42GB). I tried again, but instead of going straight to the store after loading the save, I took a run towards the Lightfoot Village to the point where it showed the name of it on the screen. Then I went back to Thorntail Hollow and to the store where this problem occurred. This time, no problems.
Notes:
Nintendont 3.382 (Wii U)
Star Fox Adventures (USA) on UStealth ext HDD
Tried both straight from HBC and through USB Loader GX v3.0 r1256 (via channel forwarder)
edit:
Also loaded the save, and fought the 4 enemies that come out near where you pick up the staff, then went back to the store, and it did not glitch.
