I noticed a comment you said about possible releasing it just to test the GUI (without being able to load games). Any chance that we could plz?
It fear that with such a prototype release, there will be dozen of "why are my games not booting with the loadiine gui" threads and posts

I like the idea of having the grid scroll vertically for titles and horizontally for categories. very straight forward and very good use of screen space.

That's understandable. But if it's titled in a way that's clear it does not load games. Then if people moan then it there own fault for not reading? But it's completely understandable tho

I have seen on the compatibility list that Fast Racing NEO is working. But for me it crashes on the loading screen (the loading icon freezes). Or is it the mentioned "horrible loading time"?
Did you wait 20+ mins? Because that is how long "horrible" is.

also, on games with lot of small files, don't enable the logging server.
I guess most users don't use it, but if you enable it it will slow down the load time even more as it has to send data to the server after every file access.

Couldn't a cache system be used, like with nintendont?
I suppose each file access need to seek to the fat table to get the location of the file on the drive and then seek back to the correct cluster to read it.
how is the nintendont file cache working, and could it benefit from having a packed file (zip, iso, wux, cpk, etc.) ?
xenoblade use cpk with lot of small file inside, and load time is great. shortening the number of files could improve load speed?

oh, I like the categories and multiple circle idea.
nbr of page would be autogenerated based on found categories, user filters, etc.

It could work for other designs.
The Grid design could scrolls games page vertically, and have different category pages scrolling horizontally.

Multiple circles doesn't solve the problem of a large circle being crowded. Sure it can help delay the problem, but if a circle/category grows large it still needs to be handled correctly. Cover flow type UI's solve this by not maintaining the same distance between items. They only need to be spaced nicely at the front. The rest can be stacked closer and overlapping (think a deck of playing cards). This dynamic spacing should be solved first, before adding the complexity of multiple circles, unless the goal is to set max size for each circle...

So what you guys already can do now is prepare the folderstruct by setup of the following structure:
/sd/wiiu/games/some game name [GameID6]/
/sd/wiiu/games/some game name [GameID6]/code
/sd/wiiu/games/some game name [GameID6]/content
/sd/wiiu/games/some game name [GameID6]/meta

Can you post an example folder name of a real game? It's not clear whether the folder name should include the brackets or not.

it's already working in a flow type when there's too many icons, you don't see the icons in the background, and they are not all loaded at the same time in the circle.
I think the number of icons present in the circle at the same time will be a user setting.

I updated the first post.
you need the brackets.

example :
SD:\wiiu\games\Yoshi's Woolly World [AYCP01]\

Title [ID6] is the exact same folder naming convention than used by Wii USBloaders, so it shouldn't be too much disturbing if users also have a wii and use usbloaders.

Does anyone know a way to get the GameID6 from eshop dumps or any other rips that dont have a meta folder. I have got some from here http://www.gametdb.com/WiiU/List but they dont have all the ones i need. i mostly just need the Virtual Console ones i have like 75 Virtual Console games. any help would be really cool.

Hi guys, i'm having troubles when i tried to play Bayonetta 2 (LOT of lag, audio problems etc) any solution to this problem?

Sorry for the questions but: how could i do that? is a program required to do that?
If your SD is 32gb or below, you can use Windows's formatter (iirc). I used EaseUS Partition Manager, but you could probs use Panasonic SD Formatter (not too sure if it can do that. not used it in years)

I have a 64 gb. SD card bro

Then try Panasonic SD Formatter, I will assume it has that option to set cluster sizes.
I only used EaseUS because I had it installed for other stuff haha.

Ok, i will format and i will let you know if it works, thank you for your answer :)

I spoofed my WiiU to 5.5.0 two days ago, and since then I can't use Loadiine via SSB method because it redirects me to Mii Maker. Anyone knows how can I solve this?
