Unfortunately, I don't think so. If you update rxTools' emuNAND, it would be on too high of a firmware version for the spider exploits to work. I don't think the spider exploits have ever worked on emuNAND, even if emuNAND is on the right firmware version.

Yes, you should be able to update your emuNAND without issue. Backup your emuNAND with EmuNAND Tool first just in case!

Can the "eShop - old version downloader" to download old version of software other than ironfall? If so, how? And can you choose which version to download? Also, can you download titles that are on the server, but are not listed in the search or categories?

SysNAND will work fine. Devmode is only needed if you're using SysUpdater.

Just tried again, getting the exact same error, black screen, turn 3DS on/off. I'm likely being dumb and have to run something else to get it started I guess... UNless it's because I'm not installing the cia from root? Which I guess it worth a try...

If you mean emuNAND, you might just need to format a new emuNAND. If you mean the 3DS won't boot at all, take out the SD card and see if it will boot after that.

Nope, you just need to format a new emuNAND. This can be done via the Gateway launcher or if you have a NAND backup you can use the Multi EmuNAND Creator.

the devs are anti piracy so on its own it will not support .cia (roms) but when in rxtools and then ntr cfw is applied you can use ntr for .cia (roms)

Hey, I was trying to install rxtools and I seem to be able to launch it and everything but after I launch it, it goes back to the normal Nintendo 3DS menu. The version has changed to RX but I can't seem to get the Rx menu. Can someone help, please?

My PC won't let me access 3ds as a drive.
Black screen when the sd adapter is connected or disconnected
Blue screen only when plugged into my anker sd reader

Is there anything I can do to verify the mod is correctly done? How can I test the SD adapter is at fault?

its most likely your reader and adapter if you want to check if its completely screwed go to control panel then go to Hardware and Sound then click on Device Manager then find the USB port and SD slot and click on properties and it should say if its faulty or not
