You just create a folder named "blargsnes".The 1.3b doesn't have the folder i used to place into the 3ds named folder, where i put the .smdh and .3dsx files?
(sorry ima kindanewby in this world)

I am somewhat curious, what is the technical reason that the PSX emulator requires CIA installation? I assume it is due to 3dsx not yet having full kernel access? I'd love to figure out how to get it working so I could try FFIX, but the 3dsx core simply won't load any games (it says that the .cue files I have are not valid, so it could be that it can't read the ones I have). Obviously emulating the PSX is difficult, so I didn't have high expectations in either case.

Aside from trying to decipher the PSX issues, I've been using the build that ihaveamac posted from December 9th. I haven't had any audio or vsync issues on any of the emulators I've tried thus far (CatSFC, Nestopia, GPSP, Genesis Plus PX, and of course, 2048). I was especially impressed that CatSFC ran Super Mario RPG relatively flawlessly (of all things, the 2D battle transitions caused it to slow down for a second), given that half the emulators I try to play that game on choke on it.
I am on firmware 10.1.0-27U, using Menuhax that I installed with Ninjihax. I'm just sitting on 10.1 until I see more about the ability to downgrade as I'd greatly like emuNAND to allow me to ignore some headaches about required updates. Also, CIA access would be great.
I think the PSP CPU was very similar to the PS1's, only a lot faster so it wasn't really emulated.Hope latest hacks on 9.2+ fw would propel developement of Psx emu version
BTW. PSP psx games were emulated or PSP had some form of psx hardware ? (ps2 and ps3fat had full psx hardware)
Only in CIA builds of PicoDrive. Also im in a Old3ds, retroarch can emulate 32X games?
o3ds or n3ds?I'm not sure if it's due to IronHax Restraints (I'm using IronHax 10.3.0-28U) but the CPS1 Emulator runs as slow as Molasses (I tried it with Nemo and Three Wonders)
o3ds or n3ds?
In general cps1, cps2, mame, and neo geo runs slow on a o3ds.Whoops (forgot to mention that) Old Midnight Purple 3DS

I think QuickNES is a good choice for Old 3DS.Even NES emulators (ala FCEU, and that's already a pretty 'fast' emulator as it is for most platforms) struggle on the O3DS. It's just a very, very slow system.
please update your Retroarch build.Every emulator I load just says No Core at the bottom. Anyone else have this problem? I must be doing something wrong. All I did was copy the emulators over to my 3ds folder.
Yeah, i would like to run fceu myself but on o3ds xl i just use quicknes.Even NES emulators (ala FCEU, and that's already a pretty 'fast' emulator as it is for most platforms) struggle on the O3DS. It's just a very, very slow system, that requires a lot of optimisations and accuracy sacrificing to run well.
