Homebrew [Q] Is there any way to install the Homebrew Channel on 6.1.0-4U?

Just got a 3ds off eBay and saw the firmware wasn't updated. Just wondering if I can install any home brew on it.

^That. You can simply use the browser exploits and set up CFW.

Be sure to do a nand backup before any upgrade, and again when you get to whichever update (up to 9.2) you settle on.

I tried rxTools but for some reason I cant connect to the browser, is there any way to update my firmware to where I can use browser hax, or is there any other exploit for my 6.1.0-4U firmware that doesn't need a browser? Sorry for asking these noobie questions, I literally just got my 3ds today.
