I have a GTX 970 and an very happy with it.
It works great with Dolphin and can play MK8 on cemu but at about 9 fps :-(
wow, a whole 9 fps! that's a new record! lol, i just have a gtx 760 i've had for like a year now. it does the job decently, but i would like to have a better card tbh

@Exzap I rarely venture into emulation related projects these days. Mostly because of the toolish behaviour of entitled kids who don't appreciate the fact of these things being more about the technical challenge and having their own personal need to be able to steal software filled that can be seen here. I have been watching the emulation scene a hell of a lot longer than most. I go back to the very early days of N64 emulation, and beyond that back to early Gameboy emulators and such starting to function on the Amiga.

So just so that someone has said it - ignore all of this. The work you have already done, I for one appreciate as remarkable. I remember still how amazing it was to see Majora's Mask less than 24 hours after its Japanese release, running at a hilarious and buggy 3fps with no SRAM support. It was astonishing for the time. Cemu is astonishing for now. Already. Cemu is more exciting to see progressing than I've experienced since those early early days, long before there was a Project64 or Dolphin for people to enjoy perfect emulation on. They don't understand these first steps, or that there is a little more challenge than "just make it work on everything, 100% perfect, RIGHT NOW OR ELSE, what's so hard about that?".

Some of us do. Some of us love watching the progress. The absolute joy of seeing something running AT ALL on hardware it technically was never meant to.
Cemu is exciting. Do what keeps it exciting and interesting TO YOU, not anyone else. Keep it up.
I am immune to bickering and complaints, so don't worry. Thanks for the kind words though!

It's true that emu dev can be fascinating even if you are not the one developing the emulator. I follow a few other emulators and it's always nice to see progress.

Thanks for all your (and other people('s) work I found out about CEMU right after I had written off waiting for a wii u emulator good job:yayu:

I just bought a 970. It was supposed to come in the mail two days ago with 2 day shipping and now I'm kind of worried my $311 just vanished into thin air. I going to have to call B&H up and give them hell soon, hopefully they give me a human being and not a useless bot, like Amazon likes to do.

If I had to guess my 750 Ti might just be good enough for 7th gen emulation, but I need the 970 for the Oculus. 750 Ti is a really solid budget card.

I just talked to B&H, very helpful. Apparently I have to wait 3-7 days for it to be shipped to them, then it has to be shipped to me. Ugh.. -_-

At least I know some guy didn't steal the package off my porch.

For the sake of putting this whole "emulator isn't living up to my unattainable standards" bickering to rest, why do you want to keep the emulator closed-source for the foreseeable future?

Sure thing, I live in the fanciest dirt hut at Al Taibah Syria
I'll make sure to put the camels away.

He said it before, something like at this stage open source would just slow things down.

open source for the ps3 emulator has done nothing but speed the project up and it helps and closed source is a much slower process in the end because you are stuck on who ever is making the projects hardware reason 1 why only nvidia really works but hey it will be fixed soonish maybe 2017 if we are lucky

Might be getting a Wii U this Christmas, plus I currently have an AMD GPU. There has to be something we can do.
Man eating camels;
wow.
Do they spit venom?
I think 'putting the camel away' is a euphemism, in which case they do spit venom ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You ignore the 99% other emulators that are open-source as well and have profited zero from it. It's not really about whether the emulator is open-source or not, what you want are people that actively work on it. I have made efforts to get more people on the Cemu team (and yes, some of them own AMD GPUs). But things don't happen overnight.

Cemu is a huge project that will span multiple years. If you can't stand waiting for a feature even a short period then I recommend that you leave and forget that Cemu exists.

That's not really a convincing argument, there will always be complaints no matter what.

Thank you, that is reason enough in itself. Here's hoping the complaints will die down a little now (not counting on it, but we can dream)

Don't tell anyone but I honestly just wanted it repeated

I seem to be able to go further with Xenia (xbox 360) than with the PS3 emu.
I also can only load 1 citra (3DS) game where others say many different games can be played.
Cemu can go further than all of the 3 above emus on my system.
Someone is one hell of a smart cookie.
