Gaming Has anyone ever used a 256GB SD card on their 3DS before?

There are some sales for SD cards on Black Friday and I wanna make sure it works on 3DS before I purchase.

I know that people are having an issue with 128 GB cards not installing cia files after about 96 GB or so, but I cannot find the thread. If the price is right, I would buy one just because!!!

Well they can use it so they want it.

I had some guy having issues with his PSP not accept 2x128gb micro sds but would accept a 128+64gb.

Gotta get them isos for yo CFW

I mean Most popular CIAs are huge pokemon 2gb MH2.7gb Bravely default 3.3gb.

Im alread considering upscaling to a 64gb card

My PC has 3TB of space and I also have a 2 TB external HDD. So if I can't use it on the 3DS then it's worthless to me. My steam library spits on 256GB and laughs at it.

Does anyone else have any luck using a card of this size? I don't wanna be the first person ever to have tried this and end up wasting money on a worthless card.

As long as you format as FAT32, I believe that you should be fine.
