Thanks a lot! This is not my 3DS, it will be for my little sister. If I set it to autoboot rxTools with themehax, how safe is it to give it to a person who knows nothing about hax, just wants to play free games? And how can I safely update to 9.0 / 9.2?

I think that unless she doesn't press any button on boot/remove the SD card, it'll be completely fine.

So the guide tells me to download the 3DS CIAs for a 2DS. If I install them, will I be affected by the bug that if I do a System Format, I'll be asked to turn up the 3D slider (which I can't do on a 2DS)?

yes in fact i have when trying to fix my issue with ds flashcards in emunand i set up a new sd card from scratch including a nand unlink so yup

ok so first off the modified one is mislabeled its really 9.0 modded
and the choice is yours all of the omitted system files in the modded one can simply be downgraded instead (if needed) if you pick the full one
agb is for gba injection compatibility
whtlist is used by nintendo to block flashcards
mset = ds profile hack
and i forgot the name of the other but its related to dsiware injection
you may need to downgrade these manually if you get the full

also 9.0 & 9.2 are nearly identical in look and function and exploit compatibility
i got the modded one personally
