So finally got my n3ds xl fw 9.0. Finished setting up all the necessary stuffs to pira.... play games.
My setup: Emunand 9.5, rxtool 3.0 nightly, menuhax 2.0 with ctrbootmanager for cold boot (timeout 0,autobootfix 2).
So some questions:
1. What can i do to improve the boot rate. Sometimes it just boot to blackscreen which is kinda annoying. Ppl mentioned that going back to older version of menuhax improve bootrate, is that true?
2. What i should not do. So i heard i can get an emunand update nag if i left the 3ds sleep with wifi on. Is there anything else i should take note of while using?
3. About online features. Do i need fw spoof to play online? Or just install latest cia and play without worrying anything. Same apply for eu or jp games online. Will nintendo be like "oh this guy has a us 3ds but he's playing eu games, let's ban him"
4. If i want to access the eshop, free multi patcher is a fw spoof homebrew right? Is it still safe. Sr google-d this but still gonna ask bc who knows what nintendo might have done yesterday
5. Thanks for reading :)

Edit: 6. I heard that 9.9 games have a dummy browser to patch browserhax. Is it safe to play zelda triforce cia? Will the patch occur the moment you open the game or just when update the system with the game?

For number 6, it's only for people on 9.9 or above firmware, whether emuNAND or sysNAND. You don't have to worry.

1. I don't think there is anything you can do to be honest. The latest nightly builds have the fastest boot rate. If you've already changed your cfg file to 0 timeout, I think that's the fastest boot.
2. I think as long as you're connected to WiFi, you will get the update nag. I believe there are some ways to block it. The most common way to ensure you don't update is by changing your DNS settings (look up a guide on that). Also, if you have your NANDs still linked, make sure you don't access data management while in emuNAND, it will erase everything in your emuNAND. Best way to prevent that is by unlinking your NANDs. Don't mess with sysNAND at all if you don't have to.
3. No, you shouldn't have problems playing online through cias.
4. I believe there is an eShop spoof with the latest homebrew package.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
