Um, I wanna get an ISO file of either SM3DW or SMM, where can I get one, or does someone already have one? Sorry, just that I really wanna get into SMM and make some gameplay videos on my YT channel.
I hope you get banned, it's highly illegal to ask for roms. Rip them urself

I'm thankful that someone is going out of their way to do this for us.
He doesn't have to do anything and yet people still piss and moan about such little things.

I mean he said he'd release it once the project progress comes to a halt. The entire point of emulation is preservation, even though closed source kind of stunts the fun of the whole thing, if source code is going to be released eventually that's good enough for me. As long as it doesn't go the way of epsxe. Epsxe plays ps1 games, but other than that it might as well just be ps1 hardware that's really hard to break.

I'm waiting for the one Wii U emulator based off Dolphin. It's like all that work was done Emulating the Wii/GC to a perfect degree, why not borrow the power-pc portion of the code? Just reinventing the wheel if you ask me, but hey I'm no expert.

At the end of the day are you really gonna complain about all this cool stuff? :P

This is fantastic news! Keep up the awesome work, exzap!

I'm surprised a Wii U emulator came before a Xbox One or Ps4 emulator

To my knowledge, there still aren't working emulators for the Xbox 360 or the PS3 either. Even emulation for the original Xbox is rudimentary at best, but thankfully all three systems can be modded.

Cemu is an experimental Wii U emulator, and yes it's real! But sadly, many are going to consider it "fake" because of the fact that it's closed source. Another thing, the so-called "source code" contains only a readme.md file and nothing else.

So please... I am begging you Exzap, make Cemu open source before something unexpected happens to you. We don't want Cemu to become a dead project, and we know for sure that it's happened to many closed-source projects, so many times before. And we certainly don't want history repeating itself as it did many other emulators. This is why Github was made in the first place, to hold open source projects and to save them from becoming dead. So that they can be used in future projects. It's all about preserving data!

But if you really want to keep it closed source, that's your choice. I can't be responsible for anything that ends up happening to you ahead of time. And since Cemu is the only Wii U emulator in existence and probably always will be, we'd all be back to square one if the closed source Cemu project dies. Just saying.

love that all you take from the potential of some horrible accident happening to the dev as an opportunity to beg for source code.......and it works lol, anyone calling it fake is a idiot
