Yes. You can easily downgrade with Gateway if you have firmware 9.2 or below since it just emulate Gateway.
If it really does emulate a Gateway 1:1 then it should work with all the entry points Gateway uses since it's the same launcher.dat. So the browser exploit should work for 9.2.

Yes browser exploit will work for 9.2, but to use it with MSET exploit you can downgrade.

It's like the sc admin avoid the questions about firmware compatibility...
There was an important detail there though.

So now we can get a better price estimate for the card.

Three things.
He basically says dstwo+ = dstwo + gateway. It's pretty much a dead giveaway.
If dstwo+ had >9.2 compatibility, they would say it out loud. It would give them a STRONG selling point.
If there was any stable way to get gateway to work on >9.2, Gateway would already be advertising about it.

There's still a slight chance, but it's 99,999999999999999999999999999% sure it's going to be 4.1-9.2.

I'm not sure why there's so much question. The gateway emulation will be up to 9.2, unless and until Gateway finds a new exploit. The actual DSTWO part will be compatible on all firmwares, just like the old DSTWO. There's nothing new there.

Like srsly what would be the point of this flashcart if it is only compatible with 4.5 to 9.2 on these versions we can get free 3ds games without a flash cart.... Unless it works On 9.2+

So DSTWO with Gateway emulation. Emulators run in DS mode just like DSTWO. I'd rather just use the retroarch emulators on 3ds. And Sky3ds is still the only option for 9.3 or higher. All my hype has deflated. Thanks, but no thanks, Supercard.

All u need a dstwo and rxtools to have the same features
Can't RxTools only load 3ds games as a CIA installed to the system? If so then the point of cards like this and Gateway will be for convenience. It's much easier to just throw the rom on an sd card and go

Costing $90+ isn't convenat

It's not going to be much more then $80 they already stated that.

The convenience factor varies for everyone since everyone has different views.

For those of us that would prefer to not go through the hassle of converting and installing a cia and has a small amount of income, then im sure they will choose this option vs the cias.

this is good, because usually when something new comes out gw release something, because they want to be better than the competition, so we should get cheat support sooner i guess.

i think there must be some kind of deal between scteam and gwteam about this gw emulation (if not, then scteam wont using gateway name, or they would just be straight out stealing and we'll see another "brickway")
so i don't see it as a new competition for gateway.

So if I have N3DS with cfw already, and I have a Sky3DS already, and and am in the market for an NDS card, should I just get the r4i Gold or is it worth paying the extra for DSTWO+?
