Unfortunately not, apparently. profi200 directed me to (and then explained because I can't read) Home Menu§Home Menu startup on 3dbrew; gamecoin.dat is read before the theme cache on the SD card.

That's not really a brick though. Just remove the SD card.

Something about a file that if written to the system might brick it, and he wanted that confirmed.

I told someone with a nand mod to try to flash this with the home menu extdata tool and see if it would brick.
Whatever, as long as no one accidentally flashes it thinking its something else.

Its a corrupted safedata.dat file. (what homemenu_extdatatool uses)

Put it in ./3ds/homemenu_extdatatool/ after you extract it
and then open it up on homebrew menu and select "copy savedata.dat from sd card to extdata" and it SHOULD result in a userland brick.

I don't have a hardmod! Is it reversible with themehax?
