I can confirm that this also occurs on original HBL (O3DS, at least).I noticed that on my mod too, probably happens with vanilla HBL, but haven't checked. Title selector is constantly updating on the fly, which may be why the animation lags.
I like that better then just nothing being there. The latest version still have these gray empty boxes. When there are no hb.
Hope you can get rid of them!
Keep up with the great work

Yes this will be optional in a future release. Don't worry, it's still in the back of my mind to do itI like that better then just nothing being there.
Do they show up again if you exit the launcher and go back into it?I've found a bug on this HBL related with folders view... When I use CTRXplore HB and modify some file/folder on root of SD card and exit to HBL, it shows a message saying "No homebrew files" (or something like that), and if I enter to folders change option, only shows actual folder (other of them just not showed).
I think this problem is directly related with scan folders method used on it, as was said before by the creator... Then, I really hope a next future release solve issues with folders (and scan method was more simple and effective )!

I have just attached beta version 15 to the first post. This version finally, after several days of head-scratching, makes the title browser display in a grid like the main menu. This was a LOT of work as I had to extract the grid drawing code from the main menu and make it generalisable for other menus, then write code to translate the title browser data to the same structure as the main menu, pass the newly structured title menu to the new grid drawing function, and handle selection of a title from the grid (rather than a .3dsx). The hardest part was figuring out how to pass the title ID from the title browser to the grid menu data, then getting it back out again to find out which title was actually selected.
I think it's all working now, at least on my 9.9 EUR N3DS. I have no idea whatsoever if this will solve the problem with no titles showing for some users as I can't reproduce this bug. If you were having this problem before, I would appreciate it if you could let me know whether or not it is working now.
Whoa!! The title browser screen is looking great!!! and also the water animation is smooth.
I'm having a problem when some tittles get repeated multiple times and I think the clones are getting on top of other titles.
Here's a Screenshot.
Yes it happens from the first time I open it but they don't keep multiplying. I've tried closing and opening it again and reseting the 3ds and it stays the same. Only the first icon from the left seems to open the save. when I select a duplicate it gets stuck on a bottom red screen.Oh that is weird! That didn't happen for me but it should be repairable. First, does it happen from the first time you select the title launcher? Are there more and more each time you re-open it? And will any of the duplicates open the save manager with the title it shows on the icon and top screen, or does only one of them actually work?
For some reason I'm not getting the log.txt fileOk, here's what I need you to do. Put your SD card into your computer (or FTP into it) and if there is a file in the root directory called "log.txt" delete it. Then put the SD card back in, go into the title launcher, and select one of the title icons which make it get stuck on the red screen. Once it has crashed on the red screen, take the SD card out and put it back in your computer. Open up log.txt and post what it says. There will hopefully be an error there stating why it's failing, which will help me work out first of all why the duplicates are there, and secondly how to prevent them.
That means it thinks it's getting a valid title ID and is attempting to boot the title, but the title ID is invalid so it can't be booted. Give me a minute and I'll get it to log the title ID before booting it and upload another beta. For some reaon I'm not getting the log.txt file
OK, please try it again with beta 16 (just attached). This version logs the title ID it's about to boot. Can you please post the result of NSMB2 Gold Edition both from the working icon and from a couple of the non-working ones. Thanks for your help buddy!
I'm having the same issue of the same title repeating itself several times, one of which was the AR Games title, 2 of the icons work however the 3rd one just hangs me on a white bottom screenSure. Here you go:
NSMB2 Gold Edition Working title: Booting title ID: 1125899908120064
NSMB2 Gold Edition Not working first duplicate: Booting title ID: 1125899912434944
NSMB2 Gold Edition Not working first duplicate: Booting title ID: 1125900102669568
Ah yes I had noticed that but forgot to mention it. I'll get it sorted don't worry.Think I found a bug in the title selector, you're able to select the blank spaces that don't have a title on them, this may confuse some people as the cursor completely disappears and the top screen shows no information
Thanks mate. What's weird is that those look like valid title ID, I just don't know what they are for. I'll look into it and get back to you. Once I know what's being put in the duplicates I'll have an idea about why they're in there and how to stop it.Sure. Here you go:
NSMB2 Gold Edition Working title: Booting title ID: 1125899908120064
NSMB2 Gold Edition Not working first duplicate: Booting title ID: 1125899912434944
NSMB2 Gold Edition Not working second duplicate: Booting title ID: 1125900102669568
I have many homebrew stuff and gba vc games installed as Cias. Maybe the duplicates are from that because I can't find any unofficial titles displayed.Ah yes I had noticed that but forgot to mention it. I'll get it sorted don't worry.

Ahhhh, I didn't think of that. I'm on 9.9 so can't test on emunand or with CIAs.Just an update, as previously stated I am having the same issue as @JJTapia19 however it seems to change based on what NAND I'm using, if I'm in SysNAND the title manager has 3 AR Games Icons, 2 Activity logs and a whole page full of Nintendo Network ID Settings, however if I'm in EmuNAND the only duplicates I get are the 3 AR Games icons. Haven't tested to see which ones work and which ones don't however
According to 3dsdb.com, none of those are title IDs for NSMB2. However, they don't specifically list the Gold Edition. Sorry to be a pain, but could you please go to 3dsdb.com, search for the name of a game which is repeating in the grid, check it's on there, and then give me a working and a non-working title ID from the log? That way I can check what it is actually doing.Sure. Here you go:

@suloku You understand better than I do the data structures of the HBL. Do you know if there is any way of detecting whether a title is a CIA?
