Hey Guys,

I'm using a N3DS with Firmware 9.0.0 at the moment and I use the MSET-Exploit to boot into RxTools.
I saw that Themehax was released, finally!
Is there a way to boot directly into CFW (PastaCFW, ReiNAND, RxTools) with Themehax?
If yes, could you explain how?

it was released less than 24 hours ago, nothing has been released to let us boot into cfw yet, although i don't see why you couldn't boot the pasta loader, which has a 3dsx, from themehax?
but still, just wait a little longer, it will happen for cfw :)
i hope gw give us something too

Okay, I've got a problem.
I installed Themehax (HomeMenuHax) and tried to boot it.
I started my 3DS with holding L, it booted into the Homebrew Launcher.
I tried to boot PastaCFW => Crash.
I'm using Ninjhax 1.1b, i guess.

Is there a way to boot Themehax with Kernelaccess for Firmware <= 9.2?

you make it seem like ninjhax 2 does not work below 9.3... but it does, right? i don't understand the problem sorry
It's some things that Ninjhax 2 did that broke some things PastaCFW (and the like) needed, even on 9.2 and lower, making Cubic Ninja necessary for Ninjhax 1.1b.

Wait a minute, so let's say GW does get ported to this entry point but wouldn't it mean GBA installation on emunand since MSET is not being used? Also, on other CFW's why does the console kick you back to sysnand when you exit a VC gba game?

Gw can boot through web and still no gba; reinand has mset and gba support so it's possible

Yes... Yellows8 exploits are based on NH2.x related exploits (userland). Then, ATM (and just until someone release a +9.2FW kerxploit and addapt to those others), nothing like CFW, emunand, dynarec or something about possible to launch!

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Cubic Ninja is only needed on n3DSs to use Pasta CFW, not o3DSs. I think rxTools can be used instead.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
