Delete rxTools directory before installing.
Copy rxTools directory to SD card.
And put firmware.bin in /rxTools/sys

You have to change rxinstaller.nds if you are going to use that.

The newer version worked on my 4.2 3ds but it doesn´t work on the 9.2 3ds for some reason i can´t test smash bros because i don´t have it on my other 3ds

To the best of my knowledge, it's always worked for new3DS.

But all extended memory games should now work on the old3DS too.

The problem with the O3DS is that when an extended memory game was launched it had to reboot the system to free up the RAM. Since the N3DS already has extra RAM the reboot is not needed. rxTools has to block the reboot attempt.

The latest should work just fine, both via MSET and Ninjhax.

If a extended memory game NEEDS the memory why should we block the device from rebooting? No point in denying the game the memory it needs on o3ds, but for n3ds yeah why not?


and also the latest nightly mset is fixed? i tried all the game modes (extended memory,agb firm, twl and normal 3ds games) and devmode they work on o3ds but is there any point in using the latest nightly or should i just stick to beta 8? thanks

If you don't block the O3DS from rebooting, you will be put back into normal sysNand and the game will crash. The N3DS doesn't reboot on extended memory games. I'm sure the devs have manually freed up the RAM. I hope they did.

Yeah that will be cool, what if the devs free up ram in home menu and make the menu more responsive and titles load faster? Can that be done, something to make it faster?


The home menu still runs quite fine, it just takes a few seconds to display the titles, and i noticed that firmware 9.2 can show more titles on the home screen as opposed to older firmwares, or am i wrong

With the MsetDG.bat file, I can't download the MSET for EUR.
I used: 1 (MSET) - 3 (EUR) - 1 (4.X) and the commande closes immediately.

That's odd. I'll check it later and see what's wrong.

most likely the same, you can try to MD5 or SHA-1 hash the code.bin.
