Hacking What's the difference between the 4.X and 6.X MSET downgrade?

I'm using whichever comes with the Gateway download, which is 4.X I believe. Is there any benefit to using 6.X over 4.X if I'm using a N3DS?

I think 6.x is just for RxTools on old 3ds. Not sure though. I am mainly replying because I want to know too and I want to get notifications on this thread :-)

If you're on 2DS, then you're mad if you don't use the 6x.

I know you have a n3ds, but the 2ds issue needs to be known any time this subject comes up. I would still choose 6x whenever possible as it has more features implemented.

Downgraded MSET 4.x on 9.0-9.2 O3DS doesn't work with the GWInstaller. I've tried every feasible rop installer and none have worked. I emailed GW about it yesterday but haven't received a reply.
