Konami has showcased a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at Gamescom. Although this trailer has not been edited by Hideo Kojima it's certainly still worth a watch unless you're on a media blackout!

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is out on September 1st on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The only MGS game I've played was 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty' [PS2]. I haven't played a game in the series since, but this latest one looks promising.

I will probably have a heart attack when it releases ... been following development on this for the last 3.5 years now ..played the shit out of every Metal Gear title, hooked since Vita HD Collection.

Undecided between Digital or Physical Day One copy for PS4

Physical is cheaper when pre ordered but will my Blue-ray die from overuse?

I recommend playing MGS3, PW, GZ at minimum to really get into the story on this one but its great for newcomers!

Hope PS3 version leaks in advance for a taste!
