I can load FBI just fine. And even install cias I think. Buuuuut, I don't know where I can fine a legit CIA...

Thanks for assuming i'm an idiot. Last I checked, I had a different 3ds for all my cia/non-legit needs. god forbid I check with others to see if it's worth staying on 9.0 for Ninjhax-only 3ds.
You can set emunand with rxtools and update it to 9.9. That way you can launch rxtools in dev mode from it's settings and you can install ninjhax 2.0 using a cubic ninja cia installed on emunand. That way you can be on 9.9 using ninjhax 2.0 without updating sysnand and making your 3ds more limited. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not hellbent on updating to 9.9, I was just checking (since last time, smea recommended everyone update to 9.2). I have my other 3ds for emunand and all that, so I'll just leave this one at 9.0. :)

Can anybody link me to a noob friendly tutorial to install custom themes on my 9.9 3ds? with ninjhax 2.0
I can write a quick tutorial to install them.

1. Download CHMM 1.4 (http://gbatemp.net/threads/chmm-custom-homemenu-manager.379349/)
  • You take the .3dsx file and put it in its own folder inside of the 3ds directory (at root of SD), I think folder name must match file name (e.g. CHMM.3dsx goes into "CHMM" folder which is a folder inside "3ds")
  • Make a "Themes" folder at root of SD card and place your custom themes there
  • Each theme should be in its own folder and usually has a body_LZ.bin as well as bgm.bcstm file
2. Before launching ninjhax, pick a basic theme color (e.g. basic blue theme) in theme menu on 3ds
3. Launch ninjhax 2.0 homebrew launcher and then launch CHMM 1.4
  • ninjhax may never get to your homebrew list due to a bug when it runs, so if that happens you will have to simply try it again from launching Cubic Ninja after a shutdown and reboot
4. CHMM shows your theme list, press A to install a theme, exit CHMM
  • If you get an error during the install, you might have forgotten step 2. An error here is going to, in my experience, change you to a no theme state (all white)
5. Press Start button and then A button to leave ninjhax

That's a quick tut of how it goes. I realize it's not extremely thorough but it should be enough.

EDIT: Obviously you need ninjhax already installed and working, preferably with that starter pack smealum made as well.

This probably will sound like a very nooby question, but if I have NinjaHax 1.1 installed on my Cubic Ninja card, I suppose I have to do the whole QR code scanning process all over again to install NinjaHax 2.0? Thanks.
