I suggest that they should make a minor menu/items etc. patch so that many more people will be informed and spread this to others. And hopefully will give the translation team a boost on motivation to translate the game more. :3

Although that's just me though, what do you guys think?
I know it's hard enough for many people (me included) to play a game set in a language you can barely understand. Personally, I think that releasing a partial patch is not a very good idea since it'll just result in a lot of bugs, that's just my opinion though.

i just realized that GE2:RB wasn't a sequel to GE2 ...... is it getting localized or what ?

Rage Burst is an improved version of GE2 and the story continues shortly after GE2 main story. At this point in time, I highly doubt that Rage Burst is going to get localized even for the Vita or PS4.

For those of you who can't wait , there is someone on youtube called "Nihongo Gamer" he did a translated (not completly though) play through for GE:RB go watch it , it's very good and helpful

In an attempt to increase participations, I wonder if we should use another translation platform.
Here is the comparison, please give me your thoughts about them.

Transifex
W6eo

Pros:
- Neat / compact interface
- Well-known (people already know how to use it)
- Statistics (motivating for translators, and users can see the progress)

Cons:
- Crappy API (it is slow for us to add and get files from it)
- Sluggish (updating a translation is not instantaneous)
- Users cannot submit suggestions without being part of the team

OneSkyApp

oEe5

Pros:
- Allows any user to make a suggestion
- Public votes about the translations
- Better API
Cons:
- New interface is not compact
- Sluggish (a huge "saving" banner appears when switching to the next string)
- Requires us to update our tools to work with this platform

I'd prefer transifex if not for the crapppy API con. If that's to much of an hassle then maybe you should change, but the requiring of updating your tools seems like another hassle.
So what I mean is, Transifex if you guys can put up with the API.
And @Radwan126 thank so much! I'll have a look into that.

No problem ! the dude is really awesome ! his channel is really good and helpful

please give me your thoughts about them
even though i don't know anything about these things , transifex looks better actually , and you guys are already used to it i think , right ?

The main issue with Transifex is that it does not allow people to make suggestions to translations. Such feature would foster people to contribute, and I would be able to add reliable suggesters as translators.
About OneSkyApp, I agree that is looks ugly. Their former interface looked great, I really have no idea (yes I do: new is always better) why they changed to this bloated interface.

Hmm , are suggesters really that important ? i am sorry but can you explain what they do exactly ? (sorry i really don't know)
if suggesters were that important , then i say change to OneSkyApp , yes its UI is ugly but as long as it's helpful more than transifex then why not ?
or if possible , try both and see which one is better to use ...
i really wish you the best of luck guys ! do your best !

If you guys really like the suggestion feature, than sure, change. Either way its fine, because I think each one's pros balance each other out. So transifex or OneSkyApp is Ok to me. It's just that the suggestions are already made here.
But, at any rate, I just want the one that is best and/or feels better for the team, and since I have never been involved in a traslation project, I really don't know wich one that is. So bottom line is, I don't think people will (at least I won't) really care If you change or not.
Oh and about the ugly interface on OneSkyApp, I really don't care about that either, so it's not much of con to me.
Isn't possible to do like @Radwan126 suggested and make some sort of a trial, using both for some time? It would help people decide, but again, I don't want unnecessery trouble for the team, nor do I really have a preference.

Thank you guys for your feedback.
Maintaining both at a time will create discrepancies that will be annoying to handle.
I will discuss this with translators, to see which one they like the most, and we will decide if a change is worth the hassle.

Yeah thought so , it was a stupid suggestion from me after all xD
do your best guys !! can't wait to see this project finished , i want to understand the story so bad >_<

@devnoname120 i was thinking about something for a while now , can't we do the same with what happened with Digimon cyber sleuth ? it was localized thanks to a petition made on the internet right ?
did any one make a petition for GE2:RB ? i mean since there are too many fans of the series and that it's a sequel to GE2 that you guys are working on , would the petition work ?
i would love to hear the news of GE2:RB getting localized and i would definitely buy it , can we make a petition on change.org or anywhere and attract people to it ? should i make a thread about it in the game section ? what do you think ? would it work ?

It's not a very bad idea, but I highly doubt it will work. There's just too many legal issues for an english localization to actually happen.

what kind of legal issues ? sorry i don't get it
its worth the try

of course , especially if it was made by someone known or something
