another "heads up" for 2DS users, do not format sysnand if you have downgraded MSET to 4.x, make sure you re-update MSET if you need to format sysnand or you will be left with the choice to update sysnand to 9.8 or have a semi-bricked console.....this is assuming Roxas is using the 4.x MSET and not 6.x, as 6.x should be "2DS aware"

Why do you guys just not install fbi or devmenu with Network CIAinstallation. Just enter rxtool emunand and install over network?

I just used Rxtools to install the fbi installer onto sysnand. It gives you an option to install on sysnand or emunand.

Reading back in this thread a lot of people, had problems with installing fbi. I guess you do not need to inject fbi anymore?

Is there a way to tell if the MSET downgrade worked?

The spider exploit to install the mset exploit doesn't seem to work for me, even though it did when I was on downgraded 4.5.

Maybe I didn't downgrade right, but all I did was use the tool from the rxtools zip to get that bin file for my region, and then used the option to downgrade mset while inside rxtools on my 3ds.

Isnt injecting the same thing as installing? Heres what I did: I placed the fbi app onto the sd card along with the cia file. From there, I loaded up the rxtools menu and clicked "other options". It gave me an option to install on emunand or sysnand. I selected sysnand. It took a few seconds to install. From there, I just booted up sysnand from rxtools by holding down "x". Opened up the health and safety app and it loaded just fine. Btw, I am running 4.2 sysnand and 9.8 emunand.

Why would you need to use PastaCFW? RxTools + EmuNAND has everything you need.
I do not want to use pastacfw, i just want to launche rxtools using ninjhax, instead that using the browser, at least until the mset downgrader does not work properly on 9.2

That's what i do for now :) (with a real cubic ninja cart)
Launch Ninjhax, then rxTools, no internet needed, no mset downgrading needed on my 9.2 sysnand :)
(for the record, i don't want to downgrade to 4.5 sysnand and i like to keep my nnid linked to sys and emunand)
