Yeah, but then I checked if it had a profile and it did so I guess someone had it and updated then returned it. It even had their WiFi setup. Does the 3d demo mean anything?

if there's no 3D demo it's been formatted. However in your case someone had it, updated it, then returned it without deleting their profile or formatting it. If I were you I would go to the store, return it and complain to management that they are passing off used merchandise as new, might get something if you complain enough.

Alright thanks for the advice (: they had 4 of these black new 3ds xls and they were all qw1035, I just got the wrong one I'll try returning it and buying it again

Please, someone edit the list in the first page, I bought a European version, the Black Standard and it came with 9.0 version. The serial Number is YEM1015.

Long history-short, i ended with 2 MM console, in one of those i can see that has serial QW4006 and the second is QW1041. Not sure if selling the firts is worthed or not? Thoughts will be appreciated

QW4006 has been reported as having 9.0, so if you don't already have a 9.2 or less N3DS for yourself, I would keep that one. QW1041 is from the second batch of MM N3DSs and will have at least 9.4.

I have a NA N3DS XL MM edition. I got it when gamestop got restocks in. It's QW1041 and on firmware 9.4.

I will also post pictures of my japanese one to confirm it once I finish dumping this game.

If you can have it confirmed that it's on 9.2 or less and really want an N3DS, I'd say go for it. 9.2 and less N3DSs are becoming more and more scarce, and we may never have another exploitable firmware version; better to get one sooner than later!
