I love Pasta CFW for the GBA VC and DSiWare. You can't play them with a GW.
I love the GW for my O3DS. It lets me go on the latest FW on emunand and Big N can't prevent me from playing games like Bloo Kid 2 and Attack on Titan.

I can spoof eShop on my N3DS + Pasta, but what's the point if they won't let me play games like Bloo Kid 2 and Attack on Titan.

Is it at all possible to get an unsigned Super Smash Bros. (USA) .cia running with Pasta? I'm on 9.2U and after trying my own dumped and converted Smash .cia, as well as a downloaded version, I'm presented with the error telling me to shut down and try again.
I'm also getting an error with Majora's Mask, as it only shows the 3DS loading screen when launched.

Aside from these issues, I'm really enjoying this project. Keep it up.

I had to download 3 different copies of Majora's Mask before it would work. Im on 9.2U as well and I got it to work. Keep trying ;p.

IMO, it's a badly converted CIA games the reason it doesn't work. Try another converter.

No, I am basically just modifying rxTools' source to build a binary that looks like rxTools, but contains all of the files that Pasta does.

I'm going to install DevkitARM / the tool needed for building with the makefile on my Windows machine later tonight as my Linux machine is acting up, but I will update on the likely failure in the morning.

That's not going to work, because most of the magic is done by brahma, and brahma itself won't compile for the browser exploit.
It would be easier to just edit the part of rxTools that boots emuNAND, adding in the FIRM patches before rebooting. But the emuNAND part of rxTools isn't open source.

Ahh... But you need Cubic Ninja every time right? That might encourage me. I haven't decided if I should sell Cubic Ninja or not

Or you could just have both set up on you 3DS

Also, IMHO, I think you would be a fool to sell CN since in one way or another CN has been needed to do 90% of the hacks on the 3DS. That is unless you are selling you CN for a Sky3DS in which you coulduse in place of CN

The same so i went back to 1.1.1

The problem is that 1.2 actually NEEDS "system.txt" apparently. I think they forgot to mention that. Unfortunately the app to adjust the settings is not even able to create it. I had to pull a "copy null settings.txt" from Total Commander, then it was able to modify it (I then copied the newly created default "settings.txt" back when I realized that was the issue, so that it would be there from now on). Looks like they've put out a new version that fixes the problem with the file missing now though.

After I figured that out, I was even able to chain boot it from PBT (PBT -> Ninjhax -> Pasta). Well, actually it was (Trick -> Ninjhax -> Pasta). I'm surprised that worked. Not that there's much point doing that with a 4.5 system, with PBT already containing much of the same patches (though if this were to add RF in the future, that might change). And you're still better off using CN or a Sky3DS if you have them since they almost always work. Just thought I'd try it while I was at it.

It will never be possible to enable the start of rom .3ds .3dx of commercial games of course already purchased without necessarily going through .cia

Hi, just a heads up.

DON'T use SysUpdater 0.4. It's semi-bricking 3DS's incl. mine.

Use 0.3

Never heard of anybody having trouble opening a zip file before. There's a first for everything I guess.
I use 7zip and I know that works.

I suspect he may have tried to open before it finished downloading or something silly like that. Any version of anything can open a zip.

Ofcourse Pasta CFW has to be loaded. Through MSET for example.

It would have stated corrupt or incomplete if that was the case. Unknown method is obsolete/outdated version
