Hacking N3DS XL Firmware by version number

i had to buy a non-xl version because i cannot find any < 9.2 XL in my small town :(
the serial is not listed so here it is:

new 3ds not xl
Version Number : YEM1008
Region: EUR
Firmware: 9.0.0-20E
System Color: BLACK

Bought in Carrefour.

I just bought a QEH1002 black(blue is confirmed). i can still return it(sealed) but before i unseal it, can anyone tell me what the chances are that it is below fw 9.2

if it's on the list as a lower firmware chances are decent. I would still open it REAL careful and try to return it if it doesn't work out

its on the list but only as QEH1002(BLUE) mine is QEH1002(BLACK) i cant reseal(its sealed in a plasic bag)
btw what is the "paper airplane video" thing

This post doesn't help unless you include the first 6-7 alphanumeric characters of the serial number. Without that, there is no way for us to avoid that firmware. Thanks.
