So i recently made my Wii U ready for Nintendont. Today i launched the first title, F-Zero GX from usb gx loader. Pressing the reset button combination from the gamecube controller made the screen go split in half, upper part showing wii u menu, lower half part showing F-Zero still, making the console laggin.

is there any way to stop/fix this? cause it makes me go thinkin it could probably make the cpu fry from heat trying to show both things at the same time, and i dont want that

Absolutely none, sorry :( I was half hoping you had somehow found a way to break out of the vWii sandbox, actually lol

I wish...i can see why you'd be happy, messing with the Wii U menu would be too dangerous to simply do so though, even if there was a way, one single update could probably make your whole console bricked.

vWii is the safe way

Anyway, to those still reading, the bug of mine only happens when running GC games through the usb gx loader, from Nintendont it resets just fine

It may be a GX bug, then. You should talk to Cyan about that and see what he thinks

After testing some stuff, I found out, that all the demo disks hang, when you try to run a playable demo.
Also FZero AX seems to hang, while creating a card. I read, that there were some problems with AX card creating in the 29x builds, but the bugs have been fixed, according to changelog and the wiki also doesn't state hanging at card creation.
I know, that
loading the screen will be frozen until its finished but you can hear on the audio the game still runs
but that didn't appear.
The sound only looped and after some time (1-2 minutes) the screen went black. Thats all.
No way to restart it, other than the ON/OFF button on my Wii. Running v3.329 on Wii. Can someone confirm this? Or should I disable MC emulation for this title?

The memory card emulation for Triforce games doesn't use the settings. They have their own special memory card file that they always use. The only disc I have that's categorized as a demo is the Zelda collector's edition and it works fine for me.

that most likely means your device used doesnt like writing a new file which I dont know if you can solve it, maybe copy over the game to another device and create the card there, that might work.

Totally off topic and I dont know why but I recorded 44 minutes of mario kart double dash, the last cup in mirror mode to be exact cause I still had todo that for a full save, if you feel like it you can watch it in 720p 60fps over here.

So I guess, it's not the setting. Can someone test, whether card creation works with F-Zero AX?

But the normal MC emulation works for GC games. I could save without problems. Is it possible to write the Triforce savagame to my SD card instead?

I have to correct myself. Some demos do start, but hang afterwards. In Interactive Multi-Game Demo Disc Version 13 (not yet on the wiki, should add it after more testing!) the Mario RPG Demo starts, but hangs in the first fight. Other game demos (in other demo discs aswell) only get to the Nintendo Logo and hang afterwards (nearly all Mario Sunshine demos!).

Since I own a GC and a Wii with plenty of games, I decided to try some stuff, I couldn't try with them "normally", like the triforce games and/or the demos, which were never released for public. I guess, there is still a lot interesting stuff hidden inside 'em!

I am wanting to use my psp as a gba emulator with nintendont for games like windwaker and four swords.

I don't think, that will works, since you'll need the the heavenly modified version of VBA compiled for PSP, a way to connect the PSP to the Wii and also the Wii needs to interpret the inputs of the emulator running on your PSP. No way, that will happen with the knowledge we have atm. Even Dolphin has big problems to emulate a correct connection between the GBA and a NGC, and there you have a common plattform, more horse power and no need to connect anything.

thats becuase papper mario has an arstartdma exception as do manny games that ae on the demos, but the demos arent added to the exceptions since no one cares enough for them considering you can play full games of those demos already lol.

That would be an awful lot of work if it is even possible. You'd probably have more success in checking pawn shops for used GBA SPs. They're fairly inexpensive now.

good luck lol that would be extremly hard and countless hours of work for little reward it would probably take as much work as the entire nintendont did up to this time lol, decoding psp gba emulator then encodding psp connects on the wii/wiiu as gba cable, srs your asking for a lot of work for a tiny feature specifiq for people with hacked psps using nintendont that dont own a gba, which are like less than 1% of the userbase i bet.

Ive been testing more games, the japanese Robocop game has broken controls, butt ugly martians does not boot (using ntsc console, tried to force ntsc), and NARUTO Gekitô Ninja Taisen! 3 [G3NJDA] hard freezes the console when you press start at the start screen.

it seems your using shrunken isos correct? and not to meantion you probably have settings on the options turned on that arent game friendly like force widescreen.

from your report im gussing you got robocop and natuto badly shrunked and on butt ugly martians you need to set video to auto.

There's some kind of bug I'd like to report (or maybe the problem is on my end?)

I use Nintendont on my Wii U (vWii) with a Wii U Pro Controller. During the initialization, when the program asks for SD or USB, I press a button on the Pro Controller and it recognizes it automatically and when I launch a game, Nintendont sets the Pro Controller as controller #1 and turns the Wii Remote off. This is fine and the way it should be I guess.

But sometimes, when I launch a game, Nintendont sets the Pro Controller as controller #2, Wii Remote stays at #1 and doesn't turn off. Am I doing something wrong?
