I don't know if this will be helpful, but I found a way to fix the invisible PWP glitch when seeding PWPS you did not unlock.

1. Use building seeder for desired PWP.
2. When it does not show up/goes invisible, go to Isabelle and build a PWP you do NOT want in your town.
3. Walk into building and walk out. invisible PWP should be visible and the roped off new PWP you started will be gone.
4. Use building seeder to REMOVE the PWP you started with Isabelle (the one that is now invisible).

This will make it so your PWP shows up, and you do not have hidden/invisible PWPS in your town that show up in the ram editor. Hope this helps : )

Its kinda weird that for some unknown reason Im unable to send mails to my villagers.
Im using the dump function and the online ram editor found on the other thread.

Note: I only have 2 villagers. Can't I send mail when I only have 2 villagers?

Did you change the color of your roof, or the color of your town hall?

Got a red screen when using save backup but it made a mori.bin anyway..?

If you get a red screen it means that it didn't find save data. Did you really get in-game so you could move your character before you did a backup or do you even have a save file?

I will try, thanks :)

Then i have no idea what the problem is.
Green: The save dump was successful.
Red: Was unable to find the save data. If you get this, see above.
Black: The save dump failed because the game is not in a stable state. If you get this, save and quit, and try the save again after reloading.[/spoiler]
It say that if you get a red screen it's not able to find the save data, so i have no idea what the problem is.

Hi!
I've been messing around with my town and I think I might have permanently bricked my save. I've been trying the ABXY button reset (It worked last night!) but no matter how many times I've tried, the format save popup won't show up...

Is there any trick to having that message pop up? A specific timing, or maybe I have to press the buttons in order instead of all at once?

Is there such a thing as a "permanent brick"? The game crashes before the little train stops loading.

The game's digital, so I could just re-download it from the eShop, but that would require updating my console, and losing access to these tools, hah.

Maybe you can just delete /Nintendo 3DS/*/*/title/00040000/????????/data/* (untested!!)

I tried that last night before reading about the ABXY thing, but the game just refuses to load if it's missing data.
Luckily I have a backup (at home), so I'm gonna try that tonight and see if it at least prompts the "this save data isn't the last one, so we'll wipe your town anyway". >_>

Me too, the file seems to be incomplete. But i've tested acnl_ramtools and it worked. (from this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/spider-animal-crossing-new-leaf-ram-editor.382965)

I don't know what you guys are all talking about this midori.bin file or whatever it is...

I use the ram edit files to make back ups of my town, and it works perfectly and a lot more simple than spiderhack's (no offence.)
If you're having problems with this then I'd suggest you just use that as an alternative. It's literally this simple; Put files into the root of your SD card, load up the game to the point where you're able to walk around, open up the browser and type in http://bit.ly/acnl_dump and it'll dump your current town/profile onto the sd card. Take SD card out of the computer and save it to a document (you may want to rename them so that you're able to establish which is which, but remember when you go to inject your ram file back into the game that the file must always be called acnlram.bin and CANNOT be called acnlram(1).bin, else it will not work. Injecting is as simple as dumping, only you're replacing the ram file on your SD card w/ your back up. Load the game up until you can walk around and then go to http://bit.ly/acnl_inject and then go inside etc etc you know the drill

Perfect, thank you so much for this!

Looks like this solved my invisible villager glitch too!

If I add the ram tools and these hacks on the same DS, will they conflict or do they work alongside each other?

Nope they won't. I've used the editor and many of the spider leaftools. I didn't screw up anything.
