I have a N3DS, but no Cubic Ninja. I do however have Zelda OOT 3DS though.
Well all the new exploits are using CN that is the only way I know how at the moment. OOT has a higher value than CN so switching would be a net profit. Glyde.com is a very easy and simple way to sell and there are not any OOT copies up on it right now so it would sell fast.

Wait... what? The exploits out now only work with CN and not OOT?

I have some good MH3 and MH4 saves on their respective retail carts; can those saves be transferred to GW for use with dumped roms? How if yes?

I posted the link in post #3. There is a good short discussion there and a link to the NTR 2.1 thread.

NTR handles the cart, SDF handles .3ds/cia. It works on n3ds.

Do you have the mm cart? If transferring a gateway save to a cart is the opposite of transferring a cart save to a gateway then:
1) locate the .sav on the consoles sd card, move all .sav's to a computer and move one at a time back, every time launching Mm to see if the save is back.
2) when the save reappears in the rom, that means you transfered the correct .sav to the sd card, copy that to a new location on the computer, and transfer the other gateway saves back onto the console SD card.
3) keep a backup of that save in 2 places in case something goes wrong or it doesn't work.
4) on the label of the game cart, on the bottom there should be a number like: XXX-XX-####-USA

Those #'s come right before the game region, like on mario kart it's XXX-XXX-AMKE-USA, we don't need the numbers which I labeled as X's or the region. We want the 3-4 letters right before the region (like the AMKE from the mario kart example).

5) once that's located you will want to rename the gateway MM .sav file to ####.sav (like if it was mario kart it would be AMKE.sav) and put the file on the console SD card.
6) now power cycle your 3ds so it's in sysnand.
7) launch the gateway menu NOT GATEWAY MODE.
8) put the MM retail cart in the system and find restore cartridge .sav or similar (might be restore cart save game, you get the idea)
9) click the option, it will find the ####.sav (y'know whatever you actually named it) and load it on the cart.

If this doesn't work, or something goes wrong, you have a backup gateway save, so you can always still play it one your gateway. And you can't mess up a cartridge by editing the save, worst case scenario, you start the game it says the save is corrupt, it formats, it's done.

Oh and if you had a save on the cart, you can back that up in case something goes wrong and you want the old save back on the cart. All you do is go to the gateway menu and hit backup cart save game. But don't do this when the save you want to restore is on the sd card, or it will be erased.

Okay this is easier:
1) launch the gateway menu NOT GATEWAY MODE
2) find backup save game (or similar)
3) choose this option. When complete shut down you ds and take out the consoles SD card.
4) you should see a file that says ####.sav (the #'s represent letters, like if it was mario kart it would be AMKE.sav)
5) on the sd card you should also see the gateway saves, for this to work you already need to have a save for the game you want to put on gateway, on the gateway, as in make a character, save, close the game. Anyway, move all those saves to a computer.
6) move the saves back one at a time, every time starting up the game that you want to transfer the save for.
7) when the save reappears in the game, you found the right one, move that save back to the computer in a different location, it should the last of the saves you moved to the sd card.
8) move the saves you have yet to transfer back to the sd card back to the sd card.
9) now the game save you saved to your computer has a name of almost random seeming characters. I think this is the games ID, but I'm not sure. Anyway, copy the name, you don't need the .sav. Now locate the ####.sav clear the name and replace it with the name on your clipboard (the one with the random letters from the other .sav file). So now it should have the same name as the other save you had.
10) move your new .sav file back to the sd card of your console. Boot into gateway mode, open the game. If you followed these steps right then you should have your retail cart save file on your gateway.
