I tried to use the the Gateway OOT save file on my N3DS XL (North America) with my Sky3DS to load Gateway Menu. I got the white screen freeze error that corrupts the MicroSD. I've read and tried many different ways to reformat the MicroSD to get it to a usable state again with no luck. Does anyone have a method that works that I haven't tried?

Card Info:

- Sandisk Extreme Pro 16GB MicroSDHC

Methods Tried:

- EaseUS Partition Master
- SDFormatter
- Fat32Formatter
- Windows Diskpart
- Windows Default Formatter
- Linux Formatter
- MiniAide Fat32 Formatter
- Sky's Diskwriter v105 and v106 (format and reformat)

try
Code:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/yoursdidentifier bs=1m
as root
then try and format it with SDFormater on a non-windows OS (SDFormater will only work in windows if the SD card has a drive letter which can be a bit tricky to do with an sd card with no filesystem)
if it works, proceed with Sky's diskwriter and put your games on.

I tried this but still no luck. The 1m for bs said an invalid number so I used just 1.

Sounds like you wasted enough time on this dead horse. Go buy a new one and then return the borked one. Even if there is some sort of identifier printed on it no can can see it without a microscope.

Ha ya I already put in an RMA request since I only bought it a few weeks ago. I was just hoping I wouldn't have to wait for 10-15 days to send it in and then receive a new one.

That was no joke. I don't put up with BS wait times for warranty service on new products. One reason I buy what I can at Costco with their 90 day return policy.

I hope you have spare you can use.
