Gateway emunand is not updated the same way. Emunand is typically updated by connecting to the internet and installing the updates that way.

SKY3DS doesn't have the game update partition like normal retail games can have. So you can't install the game update on the card and use it that way.

No you can update emunand with rom ( not over internet )
Basically my point in here is: Inside that rom which has update system?
Beside question: have you ever using sky3ds and gw for update sysnand/emunand?

The roms do not contain the updates. The original cartridge will have an update "partition", and a rom "partition". Downloading a SSB rom and putting it on Sky will not install the update "partition". Sky does not even support that.

You could technically do the CIA installs for the updates to a different version if I am remembering correctly. However that is a bit messy and not as easy as you might want. Otherwise just wait for a bit to hopefully get 9.6 supported emuNand. Should be soon.

the .3ds rom contains the 'game' and the update parition. if you downloaded any rom and put it on sky3ds, if your 3ds was on a fw too low to play the game, you would have to update...
sky does not/cannot do any update blocking/ignoring.
i don't think you understand how this works, right?

Yeah, I chose the cheapest shipping possible to avoid increasing the cost and to avoid customs.

Hell, even then, the shipping was costlier than the game Cubic Nina €10 and shipping €13

guys I have a problem.
I scanned the QR code for the first time on my CN and it said installing exploit and then went black screen.
After several reboots every time I hit create QR code I got the same black screen and cant launch gateway menu.... Anyone knows why?

Try this....

Delete your save by holding L+R+X+Y for 5 seconds in the Cubic ninja main menu.

Once done, repeat the original process and it should work

I am formatting emunand now.
I didn't setup a NNID on my sysnand first. Do I have to create NNID on both sysnand and emunand after I unlink them?

With 3 N3DSs and all the card switching, formatting, extracting, injecting , I can't tell you how many times I have done that. You are not alone.
