Hacking New Gateway 3.1.1 update (with Cubic Ninja support!)

Guys I think I noticed something weird.
I have my sysnand and emunands unlinked. I have fake connections on sysnand wifi.
I used the CN exploit yesterday with 100% success on launching... And I used it over 30times only yesterday with no fail on launching at all. Notice that I had the wifi enabled all day yesterday. Today I turned off wifi and I tried to launch CN exploit. 3 Times it failed in row. I suspected that it could be because I turned off wifi. I turned wifi back on and the CN exploit launches again without any issue.

I have not found a correlation with wifi on any of my 3 consoles. But if it works for you great!

Well I finally got my N3DS running GateWay with OOT.

So I have not been paying attention to the forums (Mainly cause it pissed me off seeing all the people using Gateway) are we not able to use Emunand on 9.6? And if so is there any way to get 9.5?

There was a thread with instructions to get to 9.2 I think, not sure if it applies to emuNAND

Well even if it only applys to sysnand I could always recreate Emunand and get 9.2. I'll look for that thread.

just a quick update all of the issues i was having with my n3ds have been resolved by a new sandisk ultra 64gb micro card,looks like the cheap card reader i bought from china damaged my old sandisk 64gb micro card in some way, now the n3ds is working fine since using the new card no more sd card was removed or black screens errors when playing games or crashes after the console has been in sleep mode.

Pretty weird, i hate how you cant turn off Wifi on 1 mode and have it on in another but as long as you aren't near a nintendo zone and have fake connections in SYSNAND keep it on until you find the issue I guess

I did it only in emunand since I wont use sysnand anyway...

Has anyone been able to successfully get the ambassador stuff running on emunand with the Gateway yet? It ticks me off that I still can't play any of the GBA VC... or the DSiWare that is rightfully (and legally) mine.

Follow the guide I posted to move your ticket.db from emuNAND to sysNAND. It needs a bit of updating but still works.

I can confirm updateCDN and this works.. I manually updated my N3DSXL from 9.0.0-20U Sysnand->Emunand Restore, to 9.5.0-23U Emunand

Follow the guide I posted to move your ticket.db from emuNAND to sysNAND. It needs a bit of updating but still works.

Right now it's my GBA VC and DSiWare that won't work. What would the ticket have anything to do with it?

From Day one when I was able to make an emunand, I did my system migration from my old standard 3DS to the XL I use now.

I have also found the red card needs a mSD inserted or I black screen. Sometimes it just needs to be reseated.

At the moment, I think only the MT Card loader supports booting (classic mode) Emunand without a card and they've not released their new loader for the new exploit yet.

The red card was not a DRM card until 2.6
