No, the check is in the Nintendo Servers.
I yesterday I was not banned , and teased ( heavily) those who were seriously banned .
Today , i boot my ROM and I'm go ''online'' . What the fuck do you think happened ?
I used public header before time as you, and I have only ever used later, a private header of pokemon , and fuck , it happened after ' ' long ' ' .
I'm sorry for you , but you're marked , you and I are in the same situation of shit , now it's your turn
Your antagonism about the ban after the repeated teasing of not being banned is not going to resolve your situation. Nobody has yet to try a wifi module swap as far as I am aware, Nintendo hasn't shed any light on the situation, and we are still unsure of the mechanisms for banning outside of general postulation. It would be much better to stand back a bit while people actively dig into it instead of asking everyone who comes in if they know how to reverse the ban. The best contributions you can make are answering any questions people have about the specifics of your ban in order to further narrow things down.
All you can really do otherwise is to call Nintendo Customer Service to see if they have any more information on it than what we've already gathered. If you do call, and it is possible, please try to write an exact transcript of the conversation.
Moving on.
I am still able to access things normally on the test 3DS. Wondertraded again this morning, and grabbed all three mystery gifts via code and there has been no repercussions. It is unfortunately looking more like one of two things:
1) Nintendo's servers have a threshold for simultaneous header usage. There were earlier reports in the thread from people who had used only the Sky3DS template (meaning no private headers or headers from other games) getting the hammer, so I am doubtful at this point if its a cross-gamecard header check. Maybe it is down to luck in terms of how many people are using the same header at the same time. It could be more than two, but there's no way to gather those metrics. I am doubtful of this theory, but it's not impossible.
2) Much more likely now is that there is a log being gathered of header clashes and the bans are not, in fact, instantaneous. It does seem very random in terms of timing since people had claimed to go days without going online using a public header and getting banned, but if that is the case then from X start point, these instances have been tracked and it is up to Nin as to if and when the punishment goes down.
I will state again:
Right now, considering all that has happened, the safest way to continue using any hack card of any time is to use it OFFLINE ONLY. The ultra paranoid can disable wifi if they want, however just avoiding all online interactions within a game is potentially just as good. Private headers from the exact same game are the next best option. CIAs are currently not targeted but they could very easily be in the future. Public headers going online seem to be the main target, regardless of card type.
I have a gut feeling that this is about as concrete of evidence as we can get if the list-delay-ban theory is correct. And, of course, at any time the scrutiny can be bumped up on their end without any prior warning.
If you want to play a game online, for now the only safe option is to buy it.
