gateway
pokemon omegaruby
4.1
9.5
.3dz
got the header from a web
don,t kn header name
eshop is working fine
all games

Thank you! Keep an eye on this thread, maybe a solution will be found (Gateway is already looking into this). It can't hurt to contact Nintendo's support like shamzie did. It could help to claim that you wanted to play a used game you recently bought (but if Nintendo wants you to send in the cartridge, you are screwed...).

or just borrow a friends ;)

So... Do I understand correctly that if I still haven't bought Gateway (I want one), I should wait and see what happens in the next few weeks before buying one as the problem might grow from now on? (FW 9.2, old 3DS.)

It should be pretty safe if you just use it offline, go online tho and there's no telling what may happen.

has anyone been banned that HAVEN'T played Pokémon or used Pokémon bank yet??

That's a good question, most people reported having played pokemon at some point, although I remember someone saying they got the error after playing fantasy life so it may not be related.

I have also used SDF+ pkhex and I'm fine. Used a private header though.

I'm 100% positive it's headers at this point. The list just keeps filling.

I know you guys gonna tell your crystal balls are too fogged right now to answer. But let me ask it anyway... Do you guys think Ninty has some sort of database linking NNID, and headers used? I'm asking this because i've been using public headers for a long time now and just started to use CIA when the Ban Hammer started to fall. So maybe we're all going to be banned at some point? I mean people like me that used public headers at some point..

The user that was using only .cia's was found to have been able to resolve the issue by resetting his router or something (if I remember correctly).

Nothing's 100% yet, but the people who're getting that error have the use of public headers in common, so simply going by that, I'd say it's just a matter of time before the hammer comes down on you :( Hope this is wrong, though!

im on 9.4 still and awaiting my sky3ds in the post... im currently enjoying using my R4 card playing normal DS games!

if I get banned once I update and start using my sky3ds cart I don't mind being a guinea pig for things?

What is a pretty big question is, are the banned users banned because they used the multiplayer part of the games they played or just playing a normal game with the wifi switch on playing single player games which have the possibility of multilayer access though not used.

If this is yes then it's all logged alot deeper then just being caught online playing multiplayer when someone with the same key is using it.

That just struck a thought.

Have the users who were banned tried accessing a different network?

Like, what if the router's mac was banned, not the 3DS?
