If so, if I downgrade to 4.5 will I be able to use that to play DS roms on my 3DS? Or this card only so you can run the exploit on 4.5?

If you search any of the faqs here and type blue, nothing comes up.

I found info online that it is a DS flashcard running Wood but I can only find videos of it running on DSes, can I get this thing running on a 3DS and do I need to be on 4.5 to do so or is booting into gateway mode enough?

Eh I won't be a dick and I'll answer your question. I downgraded to 4.2 and I am currently using the Blue Gateway card to play DS games on my 3DS. Basically it's the same as an R4. However after you play a DS game using the card and want to go back to Gateway mode, you need to use the Blue Gateway card to use the Gateway installer again. This is the case if you ever want to play DS games on your 3DS.

So basically YES it plays DS games. And then you need to run the installer again to get to Gateway mode.

Thanks man, when you say 4.2 you mean 4.5 right? Also are there instructions anywhere? Is it just downgrade to 4.5, load the card with the right files and roms, and your good to go? Appreciate any resources, I can't find anything on this.

4.2 and 4.5 are pretty much the same. Gw blue card works on both versions. In the gw website are the downgrade files and the instructions

If you download through Gateway it takes you to 4.2 which may as well be 4.5.
