Indeed i also thought i had a broken gateway card.I can confirm the problems.
I commented on the FAQ page but nobody else seemed to have the problems so began to think my Gateway cars is broken.
Seems like only very few people have a 2DS here.
The moment we realised for the first time that the Gateway has a LED.Indeed i also thought i had a broken gateway card.
Today i runned the diagnostic tools with the new ultra 3.0.1
The results were good, no error, green light coming out of the top of the red card. This kinda indicates that the red card is working properly right?
Mine's wonky. All my games run on my 4GB microSD.Also, this is NOT an issue with the microSD. I've tried three different cards:
Sandisk 16GB, class 4 - Games didn't work at all
Samsung 16GB, class 10 - on FAT32: games load VERY slow, or don't load at all. Bug is still persistent
on exFAT: games load fast, all games load. However, Bug is still persistent
Transcend 32GB, class 10 - some games load, others do not. Bug is still persistent
Yup i have already done that, lol im even ready to give them my serial number or something if they need it xDthis is a beta, re you emailing gateway with helpful information, like brand of sd card, firmware versions, games trying to load etc. etc. ?

Same position as me, huh. All but this one mSD we have works. In my case, it's a Toshiba 4GB Class 4.I bump this thread to give you my experience.
I didn't try all the games but everything's been working so far. I have been using it for one day and have 39 games on my SD card (formatted in exFat)
I'm using a Scandisk Ultra 16 GB class 10 30MB/s.
I hope this will help people who have been encountering issues with their 2DS.
I have been using the 2ds since the update dropped and haven't had a single issue.
Using 64 gig microsd and 64 sd both samsung pro cards.
Used this formatting guide for the 64 gig SD. http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/blog/2013...-upgrade-your-3ds-sd-card-to-64gb-and-beyond/
Once you manage to get gateway to load devmenu, you can use devmenu to install devmenu, then use that devmenu to install while only needing gateway to boot.it didnt work , its there a way to install cia files without the red card? its that we only want to install the big blue menu to run the cias even with the gateway
thats what we are trying but we tried with every type of micro sd that i have and it doesnt boot the dev menu
