Hacking [GW3.0.1] Can I enter the gateway menu from emuNAND?

Hi there,

I was wondering if there were a way to enter the GATEWAY menu from emuNAND without rebooting to sysNAND and running the browser exploit again (and holding L).

it is not possible to start gateway at the console boot, if that is what you mean.

You can , however, downgrade your console and start gateway mode without an internet connection.

Nope you can't, and if you try to run the Browser Exploit under emunand the screen will just become black with multi colored pixels and the 3DS frozen, so you must reboot to sysNAND.

I don't think so, but if your emunand is 9.2 or below the browser exploit might work...not advisable still

That happens when the NAND version is above 9.2, aka: The exploit not working properly anymore.

I get that fancy color-freeze on my 9.4 SysNAND.
I think if you are below 9.2 on the EmuNAND the exploit should work just fine, since it actually runs the GW menu off of the Launcher.dat file.

Can't you go into settings and exit. That will take you back to sysNAND

Come to think of it, it would be pretty nice to have a .cia loading GW Menu from EmuNAND. Just click it and you are there. Or maybe just a switch on the Homescreen to get from GW mode to Classic mode and vice-versa. This would save a lot of time.

Edit: Wait a minute... didn't Gateway announce they have a surprise for us?
Seeing the downgrade feature they just introduced I wouldn't mind a modified downgrade pack. Who knows?...

No he is correct because I wanted to see what happens if I loaded the exploit in emunand and it did exactly as he said it would.

No... Every time I try to launch it under 9.2 emunand, it freezes. Both my sysnand and emunand are at 9.2, and in sysnand, it loads every time.

Actually tbh I have had to use the NDS Profile way for a long time now and now they have this browser way its much quicker and better you don't have to bother anymore going into settings, then into profile, then hit NDS, its alot to do to just to boot into GW mode so I prefer the browser way any day of the week, being using it all the time since it came in, just click on the browser icon and bamn, loads the exploit up much quicker!!!

it's possible to run it repeatedly, yeah, but you won't get "emunand in emunand".

You don't get any update nags anyway with the switch on or off, I have never had update nags in systemnand ever, you just turn all your spotpass options off, I could leave my 3DS's open in systemnand for hours on end and a nag never comes up, not once!. Trust me about this, after along time the NDS Profile way gets a little annoying keep doing it over and over again the new browser way is very refreshing!

Edit: as long as you put a parental lock code in your system nand, no problems of updating anyway!
