Hi um im not really sure how to describe this so.. but i will try the best i can to do so
My vWii is Soft modded via the guide on gbatemp using smash stack anyway i notice that HBC was having the little signal icon blink and then just disappear (Turns Grey-ish) i thought that it was just maybe HBC but no homebrew that uses network will connect online or any wii games (if there are any that still work online :P ) i have triple check my router settings to make sure they match the Wii U/vWii and they do but it still wont connect Wii U Mode connects fine so i don't think its a hardware issue... Anyway i really hope someone can help. BTW my Wii U is on the Latest Firmware

All Wii games have had their online servers pulled offline. Some are still up but are really random games

Are you able to connect to the Wii shop channel?

If everything's correct, you can still download stuff (like I'm able to download Nintendont updates in the app), but yeah, all servers were shut down (though there are unofficial ones running now).

You can use homebrew apps that connect to the internet like as USB loaders for updates, Nintendont etc. The Homebrew channel and homebrew browser as well (not sure on wii U, not tried it myself). But no, most of the online content has been shut down by nintendo for the wii, mostly to stop further exploitation I assume.
