Just create a "raw" file with GCMM and rename it to:
-ninmem.raw (use with all games at the same time)
-or make copies and name it as each game ID to have each game save individual

You can also go the longer road and create a new save file for each game you have a seperate save file with using Nintendont, format it to fix the raw data, then using Dolphin transfer the GCI file to the correct game ID, game after game, it could take about 10 minutes to half an hour depending on how many games you have!

So, i use the full memory backup, name it ninmem.raw , and then it should work with all of the games inside of the memory?

Is there anyway to change the priority of which USB port is checked first?

I have a wii u with USB loader gx. I have 1 wii u formated ext hard drive, and 1 fat32 ext harddrive for usbloader gx (wii games and gc through nintendont).
I have this fat32 drive in port0 because that is what works for USB loader. Now if I try to launch a gc game through nintendont I believe it searches port 1 first (has my wii u formated drive in) and crashes. I would like it to search port 0 first. Is this possible?

I have the same problem. My current solution is to unplug the wiiu format drive when playing nintendont.

Just curious, what are the titles within titles.txt based on? Those on GameTDB?

Just asking because Nintendont detects my Japanese version of Eternal Arcadia Legends as Skies of Arcadia instead of its Japanese name. This might not seem like a big deal, but could be awkward for people who intend to have both Japanese and English versions on their drive (as I do - sometimes I really can't be arsed to play a game in one language or the other).

Obviously we can all edit the titles.txt file ourselves, but something to consider for games that have different names in different regions.

Did the new usb code added last month break support with 4k sector size hard drives?

The 2tb 2013 Seagate Backup Plus desktop (sector size 512) works perfect

The 2tb 2014 Seagate Backup Plus desktop (sector size 4k) does not work after v2.230. Freezes on init di

All of my hard drives are 4K and they work properly.

I'm pretty sure that's the case. GameTDB has a fairly consistent habit of localizing foreign game titles in English, regardless how appropriate or not it might be to do so. Editing the file yourself is probably the best option unless you feel like starting an edit war.

It's funny how inconsistent GameTDB. The naming inconsistencies of the Fatal Frame/Project Zero games on the Wii are a good example. The Japanese version of Zero 4 retains the US title (Fatal Frame 4: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse) despite never receiving a US release, yet Zero 2 uses that European title (Project Zero 2: Wii Edition). I've have to customise the title in USB Loader all the time.

For a project rightly held in high regard, it fails to do something as simple as respect region-specific titles, even if the Title IDs are different. Still, editing on the user side is probably the way to go.

Actually Fatal Frame IV does have a cover that keeps it's original Japanese Kanji I believe it just has a different title ID. It might still fail to full reproduce the original cover for ease of users sake, which might fall under what your talking about.

The naming is the bigger issue really. Seeing multiple titles from the same series using different naming schemes, or some obeying certain regional variations while not recognising others etc. Whenever I reset my USB Loader setting I have to fix a lot of game names.

This is not a Nintendont issue though, of course.

Does your hard drive need to be fat32 to use nintendon't?

For that matter, does loading apps from a usb hard drive work on the homebrew channel on a ntsf hard drive?

You should read the op, it mentions at least twice that you need to use FAT32. HBC can read from NTFS but most homebrew apps that support it are somewhat unstable imo.

You can't have a wii u formatted drive with a nintendont/backup loader drive at the same time. It's a limitation with the console apparently and it will make nintendont crash each and every time.

Just out of curiosity... anyone know if RE 0 is working yet? I mean the problem with the dial being put on the door to the railcar room?
