I have a file here which maybe some of you can try, be warned that its very dangerous and can corrupt your devices so be careful:
https://www.mediafire.com/?unb1tpqpcnpxh6k
Now to finally talk about what this file does, I basically rewrote HID and USB to use IOS58 modules, this way we dont need any more hacks for USB to work off, meaning you can use every port for both HID and USB HDDs with it. Now, since this is such a drastic change I would like some feedback on it, it might change drive compatibility. So far I've noticed that the loading times are much slower and I dont know yet if thats because of the module or because of my unoptimized code.

Intriguing work and definitely something I'd love to see more results from. Was there any particular reason as to why only certain ports could be used for USB storage devices? Mostly curious as I recalled that prior, one could only use a back and front for HDDs, or something to that effect.

I have been requesting this since a long time ago. The least i could do its provide you some feedback. I will test this asap.

I'm using a split setup. I downloaded the controller inis but they showed up on my sd card. They still need to be on USB, right? Also, I had to add the Gamecube adapter ini myself. What does it need to be named? Should I move the Controllers folder onto my USB?

The controller.ini goes into your device root (the device where your games are stored).
There're actually 2 methods:

1-Games stored in USB: USB:/controller.ini
OR
2-Games stored in USB: USB:/controllers/XXX_YYY.ini <--- XXX_YYY = controler ID

If you only use one type of USB controller, for example GCN adapter, then you only need the first method, since the second one is for people than use more than 1 USB controller.

FIX94 I'm not sure about it, but doesn't IOS58 is slower at reading HDDs than the current one?.
I've tried it since forever, use IOS58 as base for d2x, but never works, I'm also I'm interesting in unlocking every port in vWii mode.

I tested nintendont with your modified version fix, unfortunately for me, i get a blackscreen once the loader proceeds to load the game.

Im using a 2tb seagate HDD which is connected on the rear-left usb port on a wii u while using front ports for gamecube adapter.

Take a look at this video:

It shows a comparison between 480p and 1080p (Dolphin) playing Twilight Princess.

Mmmm press home and then press Reload cache or something, also be sure to switch the loading game to USB/SD according to your device.
It should see them without issues.

Yeah, I love that about dolphin, and its why I'm saving up to build a beefy pc for some high resolution gamecube/wii games. But until then I love nintendon't keeping me from needing to keep my gamecube in the room (and get to use progressive )

Use AbdallahTerro's Wiiflow Mastermod. There'll be a GC GUI button at the right corner that displays GC games.
So I dl that massive file and put everything on there on my SD from h ere https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/101209384/MasterPiece/Wiiflow_Pack.html

I can get usb loader gx to run the game but same issue as I ran it with nintendont alone my wii just turn off like the power light goes from green to red.

Using wii flow it boot the game up but does it with memcard emulation off =\

So basically still same damn issue, game runs fine with memory card emulation off but with it on my wii just shuts off Q_Q Please anyone help ;c

Well that's basically the same problem I was having, I told you that.

It's not related to Wiiflow alone, CFG also does this. Looks like Autoboot resets the configurations and puts Memcard emulation to off since that's the default.

But I can't even run any game with just nintendont alone. Like say I don't use wiiflow or usb loader and just boot up nintendont (coz the usb loader basically does the same time) and turn memory card emulation on I start a game and then after loading my wii shuts off =\ Can't play period with memory card emulation on.

Alright fix94... I tried with a different storage: i used a 4gb usb drive instead.

-The test was succesful, the game loaded this time
-Gamecube ports work on front USB ports
-Rumble was fixed, it no longer gets stuck with rumble outputs.
-Load times are SLOW
-Nintendon´t still crashes when another usb drive is connected simultaneously
-Large drives get a black screen, i suspect this is due to loading times being insanely slow...

This is my feedback so far

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
