Ok I have a few questions here:
- Savedatafiler can be used to extract and decrypt saves from ROMS having only 3DZ extention?
- Is savedatafiler easier to use as a 3DS rom (as in does it work if I just download it) or does something have to be done in order to make it work?
- Can it be used as cia?

No, it can be either type. It just has to be a card2 game. The only way to get it working with normal games is if you own the original cartridge.

It works better installed to the system because then you can export saves from the cartridge instead of just installed applications.

Yes.

Huh? Wasn't yesterdays consensus that this isn't possible since you can't launch it in GW Classic Mode / regular NAND and the retail card isn't detected in Gateway mode?

Is that how it works? I honestly haven't even touched classic mode in months. I'll give it a shot now.

Tomodachi Life and most eShop games.
I've tried the Pokemon Special Demo, which is supposed to be an E-Shop title, but the scene release is an .3ds format.

But I couldn't find the save data for that game with SaveDataFiler:
In order to find the save file of "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: Special Demo Version (EUR)" with SaveDataFiler, do I need to install the game as CIA?

The "000400000014A300" save is nowhere to be found. On an empty SD card, it still can find the savefile. So it is stored on the (emu)NAND.

What must I do to obtain the savefile, and decrypt it with currently public methods?

I've used (and installed) the 5.2.2 SaveDataFiler.cia from the Devkittools release.

Hello guys, can you tell me if i lose the game updates (download from the eSHOP), if a delete and make a new emuNAND?
And can i transfer the streetpass data from an emuNAND to another? thank you.

I tried to edit the RP but it still ends at 990. I guess they protect this aspect.

I thought you could go up to like 30,000 on MK7. You must not be modifying the correct value. Try saving a copy of the save at 990, then increasing/decreasing it and comparing the saves in a hex editor.
