cvskid: pitty you can't actually take screens of the Wii, I could have been a big help! What are your internet settings exactly?

Also, if you happen to have a retail disc, (I do! :P) try brainslug from the homebrew channel. I have heard that it works a treat! It's also odd that the alternate DNS won't operate correctly. (My DS connected first pop when I got the settings right! ;))

Kouen Hasuki: When you going to try and connect DS? I did a couple of nights back, but no one was on. (no big surprise, really... :)) Lets hope we both get on at the same time! ;) that will prove if the test servers are working for multiplayer.

EDIT OT ALL: Wait, hang on! is the server down?! Also, I would prefer a forum, as I am not a fan of facebook or twitter. ;)

matt123337: Sorry to break it to you, but your signature's not accurate: as far as I know, the 3DS has 128MB of RAM installed total. ;)

I figured eventhough the server is down for altwfc i should at least have a successful connection like it says in step 4 of the website but in image 2 it is not successful. 4. Save Settings and perform a connection test. It should succeed. On the Wii U, you can choose "End" to skip the connection test.

cvskid: I have no idea what's going on in the last screenshot, but the second one, according to nintendo website, tells me your router has a firewall enabled. try disabling it.
You could also let these ports through: (copied from altwfc.net)
TCP
Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443.
UDP
Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for peer-to-peer connections and game play).

There you go. hope this helps. (also sorry about the weird font sizes! :D)

Heh... I wonder how the power got cut... ;)
I've yet to been told, only that they lost power to the whole datacenter, and some of their machines are have some bootup issues now (I assume those are the ones that run the Control Panel used to start the system)

I also need to get me a UPS for my home PC, thanks for reminding me

and any improvements in the pokemon side like battle tower/trains/(5th gen) and maybe game sync?

I basically finished Battle Tower/subway about two weeks ago but still need to do more testing on GenV. It should be up shortly after the main server is back.

Nagato did some amazing work reverse engineering the Game Sync protocol. I will implement it sometime in the coming months. For copyright reasons, I won't be cloning the original Dream World.

I also recently cracked the Platinum Gamestats encryption, which, combined with Luigi Auriemma's peerchat documentation, should allow me to implement Wi-fi Plaza. Furthermore, my Platinum Gamestats work can very easily be adapted to support other encrypted HTTP gamestats servers if a particular initialization string can be pulled from the ROM. I will be migrating this into a separate library to help others.

also a small suggestion if possible i know you guys are doing an amazing job but can you add pictures/names of pokemons instead on national dex numbers in the gts site when you have the time of course? that would be great help
another thing i want to ask about is the mystery gift system which i still didn't understand yet can you give me a small tutorial about it i would like to make a video about it in my channel :)
finally any plans on making the memory sync on the b2/w2? just curious that's all
keep up the amazing work everyone :D

I'm basically redoing my website from scratch once more of the core services are up.

At the very minimum, I need to code a basic Pokedex to get species names and pictures showing in the offers list, which is planned.

mm201: I might ask: are any of your servers running linux? I might be able to help! :) I use a linux PC at home, and have some experience finding common problems. I ask because I heard one of you guys say some machines can't boot up right...

If so, try listing the boot logs here, or PM them to me. I might have enough experience to pinpoint the culprit for you. If it's windows however... :D I have no idea! :) If it is linux, dare I hope it isn't a segmentation fault... :O

Ha Ha! :D it isn't the first time I've done this to someone! :)
