Hacking Pokémon Black 2 AR codes on r4i Gold 3DS 2013 won't work

Hey guys
I'm having a hard time with the codes for Black 2 on my 3ds xl using r4i gold 3ds 2013. No codes seem to work for this game.
I tried dozens of different ones, both fanmade and codejunkies official ones, but none seem to work. Only the 999 items on slot1 and 999 master balls on slot 1 seem to have worked partially. It had the joker code for pressing select but it gave the items right away without any button presses.

Can you guys help me?

Do you enable cheat in r4i options?
Are you on Wood kernel?

Yep. They are enabled on the options menu
I'm on kernel 1.53, that's the latest i could find for that card. Don't know if a new one is available :/

Unfortunately it gets to "Loading" and then just a black screen with that wood kernel.

I attached a picture of my card so you can see which one it is.
The official site stated on the card no longer exists :/

I'm not sure if kernels are card specific or generic for all cards

It's wierd that one or two codes work but the rest of them do absolutely nothing
On my Black 1, I have to play some gimmicks and change some codes and the button pressing ones worked fine. But it seems that in this game none of those work :/

are you sure you are using the correct region codes for the correct rom?
usually codes are region specific... and some of them needs a key combination to activate them, and that key combination must press in a specific order...

where did you found the codes? i will try them myself and you are using an EU or USA rom?

I tried both USA and EU roms, both codes are exactly the same for both regions according to the codejunkies cheats database.
I confirmed my updated usrcheat.dat as well and the codes are the same for all regions

As for the button presses, yes, i'm doing it right, I did it for a lot of other games, including all the codes for black 1, but apparently this one has some secrets to it.

I even edited the codes and removed the "button press" line so the codes would activate without any of those, but still no luck

I have an official action replay 3ds. When i had black 2 i could never get the codes to work either most of the codes there just do not work for this game or white 2 actually. I had to go and find a bunch of unofficial codes to get them to work. Ill take a look and see if i can find the page i used.

thanks but i talked (a lot) with him via pm, and the problem is on his card.

i tried an usercheat.dat and everything works fine, but on his card some of the cheats work, and the walk through walls works but not as the instructions say...
we have the same rom... same usercheats.. but the diference is, i am using a DSTWO and he does have a weird r4...

That doesnt mean crap. I had a dsttt and every single confirmed working code for any game i played worked until black2/white2.

Anyway these are the same cheats on this page that i used if anyone knows how to throw them into usrcheat.dat i havent seen most of these ones in it.

like i said, both of us tried the same ROM (same game), and in my console it worked flawlessly....

but maybe this ones will work, tell me something later...

iirc some cards do the AP fixes automatically (probably cards like the DStwo) that could be a factor i suppose, iirc black 2 was a problem game with some cards, it might be that he would need a patched rom or something.........idk tbh just throwing it out there for consideration XD

only some cheats work

but in my pokemon platinum the cheats work fine

if someone know how to fix this please help me...

Did you maybe patch the ROMs? If I recall correctly, you sometimes lose cheat code compatibility if you patch the ROMs.
