When I go to play a game, it shows up and I hit start. Then when it loads it goes right back to the home screen! I have v3.0 of USB Loader GX and v4.2.1 of WiiFlow. The games work with Configurable USB Loader.

I hope I do not sound rude by asking for help. I've just started with homebrew apps ect. Please Help!!

All three loaders work for me ONLY with a wfbs formated drive, usb GX could not even see my games on NTFS or FAT 16/32. CFG would be my choice for loader first anyway.
How are you putting the games on your USB ?
Use wbfs manager for a wbfs drive or wii back up manager for FAT or NTFS, they are slower to transfer than windows explorer but name all the folder and such for you and convert your files.

Also what games dont work ? You MUST watch the safety video before you can play any motion plus games

Sorry if this is not much help but im a noob too, just going over some problems I had last week.

If he has d2x cIOS v7 or higher, he has no issue for watching the video.
I don't know if CFG loader has the setting automatically set, but he only need to select "Block IOS Reload" option to prevent the game from rebooting the console.
But, that's only for games using Wii Motion +

if other games are reseting the console, it's either a missing cIOS, not correctly installed cIOS or a bad setting (choosing the wrong IOS slot for games).
The HDD Partition format shouldn't affect game compatibility. It's strange that only WBFS format is working for you.

CLink08, do you know which cIOS you have ?
if not, follow the syscheck guide in my signature to list your console's system file, and post the result here.

Do you go into the settings, and change hard drive "WBFS" for "FAT32" / "NTFS" for viewing games (when changing the format of the hard drive) ???

Sorry for the English: google translation requires

Maybe he is using a non compatible folder&file naming convention?
USBLoaderGX is not working with all conventions. you need to place .wbfs files in subfolders and rename folders to GameTitle [GameID]

wbfs/Game's Title [GameID6]/GameID6.wbfs
for example:
wbfs/New Super Mario Bros. Wii [SMNP01]/SMNP01.wbfs

I installed d2x-v10-beta52 for slot 249 and d2x-v10-beta53alt for slot 250(links from copied wiiflow guide) pus i used wii mod batch to install necessary cIOS's

I'll do syscheck 2morrow

I will try block ios reload because i noticed in cfg loader it does that
The drive isnt wbfs, i just named a folder wbfs and put the .wbfs files in it

Do you think that might also be the cause because i just have the .wbfs files as the game id eg: SNHE69

I tried launching Just Dance 3 and it worked with block ios reload but not with wii play motion

It might be the cause with USBLoaderGX.
But you can rename all games and folder automatically by using WiiBackupManager.
Set the option> FAT32/NTFS tab > Naming convention "Title [ID]"
check the option "automatically rename convention" at the bottom
save the settings
mount your partition and it's done :)

I don't know why only one game work and not the other one.
maybe a bad dump.
