So I tried it in the past, but my Visa Debit card never worked when attempting to add funds to my NNID account for purchasing games. That is, until now. I was able to use my Canadian TD Visa Debit Card to purchase eShop funds without having to get ripped off by the corner store. Here's proof (So much stuff to black out lol...)

That's from my online banking account, with all the sensitive information blacked out for my privacy. If you have a Visa Debit card and live in Canada, you should be able to purchase content without having to run to a store anymore!

I used my visa in the past no prob. Was this a canadian thing?
And if you don't want to get ripped off, then you buy funds as needed, not in $5, $10, or $20 increments. Its impossible to use nearly every cent/credit of that 20 when buying a game. If you only add funds as needed you avoid loose change stuck on your account.

Yeah, the Canadian ones didn't work for the longest time. It's nice to not have to run to a store to add funds now.

Sweet, good to know it works. The visa debt in Canada is weird, it acts as a regular visa when buying online in the states, but if you buy in the country, it won't work. Something to do with interac.

How were you getting ripped off by the corner store on the eShop cards? At shoppers I pay for what I get, Pay $20 to get $20. They shouldn't charge you tax as you pay it on when you buy on the eshop. Hmm
