Is there anyone at all (preferably who has a working DS and Flashcart) who is interested in helping code MineDS? It does not matter if you haven't ever programmed before. Now that CoolAs isn't really coding anymore (He hasn't logged on GBATemp for 2.5 months), I need someone to help with the saving/loading since my flashcart doesn't work anymore.

I'd like to submit a patch: (no functional changes)
  • Fix arrays reading out of bounds
  • Fix build warnings
  • Use sizeof instead of hardcoded 4

If you still want help, I have a couple working DS/3DS's and a few flashcarts, and could help... I actually don't have any DS homebrew coding experience though... maybe i could test for you? :P Seriously though, I'd love to help in any way i can.

Do you guys think MineDS should transition into its own style by eventually changing the music and textures, along with unique features? I've written some music that I could try out with it.

Does multiplayer actually work????
Yes. We have not ported survival over to creative yet so for now only create works. Just load up MineDS in both DS's, have one press Create game, the other should press Join Game. The person who pressed "Joing Game" should receive a menu asking to join the other person's game.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
